The perfect wireless solution for home, school, and business. As it blankets your space with a blazing-fast, secure wireless network, it opens up a world of possibilities for home entertainment, backups, printing, and more. With the AirPort Extreme Base Station, you and up to 50 of your friends, colleagues, or family members canenjoy a robust wireless network offering up to five times the performance and up to twice the range of networks created with the earlier 802.11g standard. Simania_NL
An Apple contact confirmed for us that the update is not the AirPort Extreme enabler, and just updates Intel Macs for compatibility with AirPort Extreme base stations. A bit of wishful thinking never hurt anyone, but let's not jump to conclusions unless you have that cool mat from Office Space. Exactly what I meant, you can connect to a 802.11 N network, but it doesn't update your MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo firmware. That's why it's recommended for ALL mac intel users! Btw. The topic tittle should be changed, because it's denied by now. Moderator???
