gotoh Posted January 14, 2007 Share Posted January 14, 2007 sf9 did not give any improvement on my intel rig. still BUS error with geekbench 64 and PC freezed about 3 minutes after OS X loaded (needed a hard reboot, still no panic.log to give any details) this time, I did not got the nice Kernel Panic message... bajabronco Posted January 17, 2007 Share Posted January 17, 2007 after upgrading to SF9, was using firefox to browse, and got a hard reboot error - error stating that the I neede to reset the power, switched back from SF9 to b9 which was stable. gotoh Posted January 17, 2007 Share Posted January 17, 2007 it seems more stable now that I flushed every caches before booting. It's been running for 4 hours without a glitch. Anyway, there is no specific improvement or anything else running better (Beta8 was already running perfect on my intel combo, so I don't know if it could work any better) still getting the geekbench 64bit "bus error" despite 64bit mode being enabled at boot...
