No need to pm, you can just apologize to me in this thread Glad that they finally took the PC vs. Mac commercials off the homepage. No matter how many times I went to that page, I nearly jumped out of my chair when "Hi, I'm a Mac" came blasting out of my speakers (I'm usually listening to music when I'm on, with volume on high). Maybe when the Leopard theme finally goes public we'll see a change on the site to match? br0adband Posted January 2, 2007 Share Posted January 2, 2007 The Macintosh project started as a holdover from the Lisa project way back in 1981 and gathered steam, but the actual beginnings of what became the Macintosh started in the ancient technology days of 1979. There's a fantastic book about the Mac project from start to finish called "Revolution In The Valley: The Insanely Great Story of How The Mac Was Made" by Andy Hertzfeld, one of the original co-creators. Highly recommended reading if you're a Macfanatic... I assume it's to keep people out/have a bigger stage or whatever. I duno, but whatever it is, I'm pumped! Anybody besides me going?
