Proteo
The beta is leaked to several warez sites. BTW it runs pretty decently, I think I'm going to give it a new chance. I tried it for a couple of weeks some versions ago and I never got hooked, but all these new features look very very interesting. sHARD>>
What purpose does Fireworks serve anymore? I mean, have they actually re-adjusted the product line yet? Fireworks is half way in between Photoshop and ImageReady, and while it doesn't fully replace either, I'd think they would at least change how those three puzzle pieces fit together. McSkywalker
The jpeg compression of Fireworks is better than the other two. Also, it has some javascript capabilities. I mean, you can build the whole menu structure with Firefox. I couldn't agree more about fitting those three together. tomozj
Fireworks is a better enviroment for making stuff for the web, and I agree the compression is far better. Fireworks is popular with my friends for its speed and simpler-than-photoshop interface. -tj Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/37303-adobe-fireworks-cs3/#findComment-265604 Share on other sites
Takuro
I installed it and it's running pretty crappy for me. Drawing with the brush tool is painfully slow. It's actually performing worse than Photoshop CS2 under Rosetta. It's really not worth the hassel and the 900+ mb of disc space used.
