iwi3945 rev 391

ipw_bg_alive_Start() test - this can panic

I'm going to tackle that function tonight. Unfortunately, all I can do during the day is keep up with the forum and think of things to do. I probably won't have anything to release tonight but we'll see.

;)

2.2 gb down and still working!!!

great job jalavoui!!

I've got the 2200 on an HP Compaq nx6110, which is supposedly supported, but I get seemingly random kernel panics. It happens whenever I'm using torrent applications [i've tried them all with no success], and it happens after awhile of doing nothing, if i try to use networkSelector after the network connection's been dropped.

Clint

with 2200 when i connect to a already connected network the system crash, kernel PANIC!!!!!!!!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

Is possible to implement a function in the network selector to dissconnect of any network before connect a new one?

(the suppoused bug on the driver stop happens, i don't know how or when, but it stops :()

Is possible to implement a function in the network selector to dissconnect of any network before connect a new one?

yep - type (1) to turn the card off

then (1) to turn on

then wait a while to allow to driver to scan for some networks

finally type (2) to get/connect to a network

iwi2100 rev

fixed last panic bug

iwi3945 rev

more code fixing

i'm unable to commit to svn - so here are the files

i don't have a clue on the iwi3945 bug mensioned above - i hope someone finds the solution

i've tested the apple update for 10.4.9 (SecUpd2007-004Univ.dmg)

i recommend it to all iwi users

Very well thanks! Just getting it a touch...

Cheers,

Jalavoui, I made a check on my notebook, it crashed when run to list_for_each_entry(hw_mode, &local->modes_list, list) in ipw_reset_channel_flag()

Airfly,

i've wrote missing functions for this - can you check it?

tprins228,

can you take a look to other's ioreg.txt and match against yours?

there must be a way to make your card work

do you know your card mac address? - maybe in windows
