Pu7o
Screenshot of Opera 9 under Mac OS X x86: Also, like most web browsers available for Mac OS X x86, Opera still identifies itself as PPC, even on x86 machines. This will probably be changed by 9.0 release. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/3687-opera-9-universal-binary/#findComment-23389 Share on other sites

kuruu
Great news! Someone want to up it somewhere? Main site seams to be 404. would've thought opera could organise some decent hosting.. then again, since they've gone freeware maybe they can't afford it a mirror would be awesome! DrJägermeister
What is with flash? No Java? No Plugins? hhhmmm..... It's just a preview not a final release, this features will be in the 9.0 (hope so) For machines running the Developer Transition Kit: * Java is not enabled. * Plug-in content will crash Opera; we recommend running with plug-ins disabled. Hagar
Tends to crash when hitting certain links, noteably realaudio links to be opened in realplayer, maybe because it tries to open a plugin? The crash recovery is so good, & it opens so fast, that its forgiveable. I'm up & running with the same windows open in seconds :-) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/3687-opera-9-universal-binary/#findComment-23693 Share on other sites
