thor486 Posted January 23, 2007 Share Posted January 23, 2007 (edited) this will never work!!!!just read the thread exactly-starimage may have the same laptop as u but he definitly has a different EDID...without your own EDID it wont work.. I previously tried with your kext inserting the edid both of my laptop monitor and my external monitor but I got blank screen. However, I checked the starimage's kext and he has my same edid (probably because he has my same monitor). I noticed that with 10.4.5 kext I can have full video support (but no QE/CI) only in safe boot. I have jas 10.4.8 dvd with kernel 8.8.1 with v1 patch.
