Painless OTA update to macOS 26.3 (25D125) with OpenCore 1.0.6 and WhateverGreen.kext 1.7.1d7 enabled. Modern Wi-Fi, Airdrop, Airplay and modern audio continue working flawlessly with both OCLP 3.0.0 Nightly and OCLP-Mod 3.1.4. No differences in overall system functionally when compared with Sequoia 15.7.4. Don’t forget to disable the root patches for receiving the OTA update instead of the full installer.

I updated to macOS 26.3 (25D125) and everything worked perfectly With Clover revision: 5168 (master, commit ec6069ae9). Modern Wi-Fi, Airdrop, Airplay, and modern audio continue to work flawlessly with both OCLP 3.0.0 Nightly.
At the start of the update, OCLP popped up with a prompt to prepare the system for the update. It downloaded the new KDK, and the installation went perfectly. The root patch also ran perfectly.

Very easy/fast update from 26.3 (25D122) RC to 26.3 (25D125).  Temporarily disabled BluetoolFixup.kext to allow incremental update.  Set Beta Updates -> Off to enable Release update.

Using VoodooHDA.kext 3.0.3 for audio and itlwm 2.3.0 for Intel Wi-fi, so I'm not using any root patches and SIP csr-active-config = <01000000>.

Incremental Update

To prevent previous issues (stuck on login screen after entering password) that occurred since 26.0, I use full installer 15.7.4 over 15.7.3 instead of OTA update. Now, my Z390machines (without OCLP root patches) run 26.3 🫠

Hello

Thanks to esaf, KGP imac pro, miliuco, MacAsrock and all other members; I managed to install Tahoe 26.3 like a charm on my z390 mobo !

Everything works as expected , graphics, Wifi, BT and Airdrop, sleep ; and all SF

Thank so much to all members

I would like to say just an insignificant thing : it's just hackintosh ,

Far more serious sordid affairs are swirling around us, so let's stop bickering over nothing and live happily, for the love of hacking

best regards to everyone

fred

Updated with no issue:

  • OpenCore 1.0.6
  • MacPro7,1 SMBIOS (no WhateverGreen)
  • RestrictEvents + revpatch=pci,sbvmm
  • Delta update (not patched system)
  • Wifi AX210 with Heliport + itlwm
  • Bluetooth from Fenvi T919

So far, all is working fine, sleep included.

To ALL:

Update successfully to Tahoe 26.3 my Z390 machine. As each update, Gatekeep is re-enable itself. So I have to disable it again.  Has anyone noticed this kind of problem?

No such issue on Sequoia 15.7.4 😊 on my old Ivybridge.
