Tengo Arch Linux, Ubuntu, Winblows, Sequioa y Tahoe arrancando desde OC.

Are you talking about seeing your Linux drives on your macOS desktop? I can’t see mine either but I think that’s by design.

I think he was referring to the icon on the GUI, Linux is not seen by MacOS, just like Windows does not see MacOS.

A ok, you were referring to the disk not the icon in the gui ..
today I can't get one right   :hysterical:  sorry

I never noticed this when I had it installed ( also because I don't like to see the drives on the desktop )
I always want it clean

I have a couple of distros, I'll throw one on to try

The NICs with VTd story, isn't there a dependency with Intel ME as well? I forgot where i read about this for crying out loud.

Anyway, the entire vt-d/Dmar story with IntelLucy.kext is driving me nuts. Even with "DisableIoMapper" and "DisableIoMapperMapping" enabled, as well as the modified dmar.aml, again I am partly without LAN or internet with IntelLucy.kext under both Tahoe and Sequoia, although the kext is properly installed. Each time, LAN and internet is not working, the driver successfully connects for a second and just disconnects again. To solve the issue, I have to disable and reenable vt-d in the BIOS. Subsequently,  IntelLucy.kext successfully connects to Lan and internet until I switch again between Tahoe and Sequoia.

I certainly did not do the Intel ME update so far for my ASUS X299 Sage 10G, when updating to the last 4701 BIOS version. The reason is that I simply do not have windows available on my Hackintosh. But I guess the intel ME update is for Windows Millennium Edition only.

Therefore -> rollback to SmallTreeIntel8259x.kext, which always provides LAN and internet in my case with both Tahoe and Sequoia. I slightly modified the plist of the kext to avoid random KPs with Tahoe. The original kext is running pretty well under Sequoia without any modification. For Tahoe, I just implemented a simple trick, to keep the kext stable, by adding

<key>MinKernel</key>
<string>10.15.0</string>

to the info.plist. With this tiny modification, no KPs under Tahoe during use. However, I do still face random KPs with the modified SmallTreeIntel8259x.kext on wake from sleep under Tahoe. Anyway, in all cases that IntelLucy.kext worked for me under Tahoe, there was also Lan and internet loss on wake from sleep, just no KP.

I attach below the original and modified SmallTree kext version for testing purposes. This kext should be valid at least for all Intel X550 NICs with Ubuntu EEPROM modding and all Intel X550 SmallTree NICs.

I have iStat Menus 6 working fine on Tahoe. Version 7 not tried yet.

iStat Menus 7 is pretty well working with the VirtualSMC-Package and my X299 macPro7,1 Hackintosh. All sensor parameters of my respective components are properly displayed and implemented, even for my Radeon VII. I totally dropped now my old configuration with FakeSMC and the HWSensor package. HWSensor kexts are totally outdated although they did still a pretty well job on my system and are fully compatible with iStat Menus 6 and 7.  The guys from VirtualSMC did a very good job the last years and the package seems fully compatible with iStat Menus 6 and 7, thus the decision between  iStat Menus 6 or 7 is rather a matter of taste than a question of functionality... At least in case of my system.

In the mean time I was able to inject ATI, framebuffer (orinoco) for my AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB

Everything is working with Clover even Bluetooth, in macOS Sequoia 15.5.

I guess with customization of Clover will be easy to manage Radeon RX 560/570/580/590.

How is showed in captures of Hackintool, my Sequoia 15.5 is booted with Clover V2 5162, and this version is Tahoe ready...

Just need few more adjustments to boot Tahoe with Clover.

Good morning again @fernando.c.neves! Framebuffer Orinoco is not longer part of AMD9500Controller.kext. You should do root patch with older kexts to make Orinoco useable. Regards!

@chris1111 hi sure I Think you mean EFi for hp 820 g4????

Here it is

https://limewire.com/d/VAbdl#89Z9giwPXc

Just one EFI that works in Ventura, Sequoia and Tahoe .I have Intel wifi card and in Sequoia I implemented this trick.

https://github.com/randomappleboi/Native-Wifi-for-Hackintoshes-with-Intel-Wireless-cards-on-macOS-sequoia

I started with your EFI for 840 g4 but I had to change a few things as I would not get battery reading with yours.

I am pleased with the result😀

PS someone @Reddit had a hp  840g4 and asked me for my EFI He told me worked fine with his machine when he installed Tahoe😀

Hi!

I have HP 820 G3 working wifi and Bluetooth with itlvm.kext and bluetoothfixup.kext. I tried the toturial bit when I try to bach with OCLP it can't find the patch. I even tried your EFI with the same result. Any ide?

You have to look at github link what I posted and follow it to the letter First time you have to delete # on dp where patch is Reboot Apply oclp Reboot Put # back on dp where wifi patch is Reboot and wifi will work 😊

Yes but the tutorial is about activating the native intel wifi card from Ventura to Tahoe.

I followed the guide to letter.

What you mean by deleting # on dp?

Hey,

I have a question about Tahoe and my current system.  I have seen the list of compatible hardware but I am still confused.  I'm running an Optiplex 9020 with i5-4590 cpu running as a iMacPro1,1.  It's currently on Sequoia 15.5.  Will I be able to get away with installing Tahoe with this SMBIOS?  If not does changing the SMBIOS (if possible) to one that does support Tahoe work?

Cheers, Howard
