You really need to read this self-promoting article carefully.

Especially this sentence in the article:

Starting next week, I'll be joining Apple's bug bounty team in Seattle.

I'll just say one thing: Is a defector to Apple.

Like the hacker who jailbroke iOS 8, 9, 10, etc. (I've forgotten a name),

who then switched to Apple, probably for the money.

I found a way to use macOS Tahoe with an AMD Radeon RX 560, even though it’s not officially supported. What I basically do is “trick” macOS into thinking I have two monitors connected, when in reality, I’m using just one monitor connected to two different outputs: one via DisplayPort (from the AMD RX 560) and the other via HDMI (from the Intel UHD 630).
In the BIOS, I set the integrated Intel UHD 630 as the primary GPU (GPU 1) and the AMD RX 560 as the secondary (GPU 2). The trick is to boot the system using the HDMI output from the Intel GPU, while mirroring the display through the DisplayPort on the RX 560.
What I discovered is that macOS Tahoe performs the initial boot phase (phase 1) using the Intel GPU, and then during the second phase, it switches the video output to the AMD Radeon RX 560. By mirroring both outputs, the system believes that both monitors are connected and working, even though it’s actually just one.
I know it might sound a bit technical, but the main idea is to simulate a dual-monitor setup (one on each GPU), so macOS can properly switch between the boot and rendering phases.

If I'm not mistaken, I think @deeveedee did something like this, but using two actual monitors instead of simulating them.

Sure, DisplayPort has a higher refresh rate than HDMI, especially at 4K resolutions which isn’t my case. That said, I get 120Hz with the UHD 630 (HDMI) and 144Hz with DisplayPort using the RX 560.

@chris1111 hi sure I Think you mean EFi for hp 820 g4????

Here it is

https://limewire.com/d/VAbdl#89Z9giwPXc

Just one EFI that works in Ventura, Sequoia and Tahoe .I have Intel wifi card and in Sequoia I implemented this trick.

https://github.com/randomappleboi/Native-Wifi-for-Hackintoshes-with-Intel-Wireless-cards-on-macOS-sequoia

I started with your EFI for 840 g4 but I had to change a few things as I would not get battery reading with yours.

I am pleased with the result😀

PS someone @Reddit had a hp  840g4 and asked me for my EFI He told me worked fine with his machine when he installed Tahoe😀

After fighting for about one week my ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4 hackintosh can boot RX570 at TaHoe now, but it's not stable yet !

The most difficult thing is USB issue which can not be fixed by SSDT-UIAC.aml with USBMap.kext or USBPorts.kext.

At last I must insert a FL1100 USB 3.0 adapter to fix it.

Currently only Firefox working while Safari got instant off. Finder is also very unstable !

[Edit]

After editing info.plist of USBPorts.kext with correct format it can enable more USB ports from Intel XHCI now !

The correct format of info.plist inside USBPorts.kext should be like the following example:

For anyone with an AMD system and having any issues here is my EFI.

Please check my specs in signature as I have a 12 core CPU.

Everything appears to be stable with Tahoe and I can boot Sequioa without issues.

Again please check your system specs against mine, do not blindly use this EFI.

@Surenmunoo I  think you will like that new M4 Pro, its very powerfull and I have been used for Xcode, many tasks and works Awesome with Tahoe.

Intermediare model with 1 TB and 24 GB of RAM, very nice and so smart and compact.

Thunderbolt 4 or 5 is "another live" my friend if compares with USB-c or USB ports. I using my Hacks for loved this scenario and keep alive with my mind. But new Mac Mini m4 is real awesome, excellent product.

Apple get shot the target ! :thumbsup_anim:

Since you installed Linux Mint on the desktop, I have quadruple boot and I have never been able to install the Linux Mint distribution on the desktop.

I was wondering why no one is using Clover V2 5162 (Tahoe), It offers a lot of customization, injects VBIOS, ROM, Id´s...

I made an Clover EFI for my machine is working like a charm with a lot of customizations, cool Theme and a lot of possibilities with Tahoe.

I´m stuck in Clover´s to boot my Tahoe Partition, beside that It boots Sequoia 15.5, with all my optimizations.

Is someone good in Clover to help?

My EFI with full Sequoia Boots Up support.

Let´s make Clover Alive in 2025... I used for years...

Fernando.

Thanks in advance my friend.

Lets keep Clover V2 alive again... Is a great bootloader.

Bro thanks man, you saved me from laying out money for a new Card.

Considering this is our last at installing Apple's new macOS, I'd say that tip is a dam good catch.

I also can't spend money on a new graphics card, but I believe that in the next betas, the AMD Radeon Polaris cards will already be working. Well, let's keep our fingers crossed for that to happen... LoL"
