Can someone tell me why is this happening? Installed OC-Patcher, patches installed fine, enabled those 3 kexts on the bottom of the list (see picture) and I get that "can't perform kext scan: no kext" KP

As soon as I disable those 3 kexts, everything is working fine but WiFi, of course. I tried to put them on the top of the list, just bellow Lilu but no luck.

Am I missing something?? BTW, I pulled those 3 kext from a fine working Hack with WIFi/BT working.

Tnx

I always delete this useless plugin so when I save the config, no need to deselect it

Right click to AirportBrcmFixup.kext  then Show Package Contents

Contents / Plugins / AirPortBrcm4360_Injector.kext

@robi62 I still don't have the ESP skills on display in this forum by others, so I can't help without seeing your EFI (or at the very least, your config.plist).  If it isn't too much difficulty, please post your EFI when you ask questions.  You'll find that adding this helpful information will greatly expand the potential number of people who can help you.

EDIT: @Irish_Man same for your question.  The screenshot of Kernel > Adds is not sufficient info for me to diagnose the problem.  I tend to require more info than most others.

Don't Muck Around With ESP, That's Old School

Format A USB Thumb Drive AS Fat32, Can Be 1Gb As It's All You Need

Put Your EFI Folder On It

Boot Using Whatever Key You Press To Bring Up The Boot Menu

If The EFI Needs Fixing, Just Fix It On The USB,, NO STUPID ESP INVOLVED

Hope This Helps

Good Luck

EDIT: I've Already Explained All This In Another Post Of Mine

Don't Know Where That Is Though

@STLVNUB I had forgotten that ESP has multiple meanings.  I was referring to Extrasensory Perception, but EFI System Partition skill are relevant, too.  :hysterical:

No, not "your bad" at all.  That was my mistake for confusing two industry standard terms.  Not your mistake at all.  I was merely commenting on the uncanny ability of others to diagnose without problem reporting files.  I don't possess those skills.

Inspection of BluetoolFixup.cpp reveals boot-arg -btlfxbeta.  If the problem for you is -lilubetaall and you're using it only for BluetoolFixup.kext, maybe you can try boot-arg -btlfxbeta instead.

Thank you, this fixed the issue. Now I have Bluetooth and working Video on macOS 15

Hello,

I was trying to install macOS 15 update on my 10th generation i5 hack and its not going very well.

No matter if I update directly from Software Update (first time test) or from an USB thumb, the installation gets past the firsts phases and it gets stuck on the last phase Apple logo (no estimated time showing). On the other hand the mouse pointer is showing and can be moved over the screen. I have waited up to 2hrs.

I wonder if it has something to do with login window not kicking off.

The recovery environment for 15.0 is installed and functional, I have also tried to install the update from it, but no avail.

My hack is i5 10th generation + RX580 and Sonoma is working very well on it. I can provide you my OpenCore config.plist if you want.

Do you guys experienced that on your installations ever ?

Maybe waiting for 15.1 or going trough the beta can work.

Thanks.

Install normally and when it stall, black screen and mouse, shut down, put -x boot-arg. If you reach login, remove -x.

I have been in situations where installing the beta first was the success after install failures. I will normally do this for a fresh install now and then update after.image.thumb.jpeg.0115a6bf92cb22ee10a95e1ba8c63804.jpeg

An early preview of Broadcom Wi-Fi support on macOS Sonoma/Sequoia without OCLP/root patching.

(i.e., using the new IO80211Family and Broadcom Wi-Fi drivers)

No ETA at this moment.

Hello,

which Voodoo kext are you using for Sonoma and Sequoia?
What process do you do to make it work?
- do you use it on Clover or install it on the system?
I would appreciate more information

thanks

Hi @PG7 here is the all instructions

I use with Clover but with Opencore is available too. Just need change SIP to <data> <850A0000>

For Clover I use

<key>CsrActiveConfig</key>

            <string>0x0A87</string>

Or

<key>CsrActiveConfig</key>

            <string>0x0A85</string>

After run VoodooHDA and restart with Opencore and check if works, some guys noticed that its possible came back original SIP <03080000>
