Guess it’s a beta bug!

No it isn't - I don't know about real Macs as I don't own one but it is available on my Hack as with every previous Beta.

If you had the Developers option previously then it is still there, you just have to find it as described above as there is a slight change with this Beta.

Both my Hacks (and the 2 Macs) were on the Developer option before updating from beta 1 to beta 2. Since updating, one has 3 options , Off, Public beta & Developer beta in the new drop-down. The second has only 2 options in the drop-down, Off & Public beta.

Could you post a screenshot of where the Notification option you mentioned in a previous post is located?  Thanks.

Go to System Settings/General (see attached).

@eSaF  Thanks for confirming we're talking about the same dropdown menu.

Here are the screenshots from my Hackintosh 1 and Hackintosh 2. I see no change even after running the latest macOSDeveloperBetaAccessUtility.pkg from the Apple Developer website for Ventura 13.4 Beta 2.

I can see some differences in SoftwareUpdate.prefPane from System/Library/PreferencePanes between the two machines but that's about it, hence my guess it's a software bug in the latest beta.

I'll await some input from people more knowledgeable than me!

Personally I think the bug is in your machine my friend, i.e a balk update/install???!!!

If it was a Beta bug, we would have a lot more posts about it don't you think? But I guess stranger things has happened with OS X Betas in the past I suppose.

Hope you find a solution to the problem.

Could be, but in 3 machines out of 4?

The 2 Hackintoshes were incremental updates but the 2 macs were both full installers downloaded separately, so that kind of rules out corrupted downloads.

Anyway, thanks for your help.

Is the backlight-registers-fix broken on beta 2 for laptops or just mine? Take a couples of minutes for my internal screen to come on but external display is fine.
One is a 9th gen laptop and the other is a 10th or 11th gen laptop both with the same problem.
