I can't make mine work in a Pro Wifi, but I think that is because I only have an PCIe x16 slot and it needs an PCIe x4 that I don't have...

But is good to know that it works for you guys...

Thanks

mine is working in the last 4x pci slot,

Yep the Gigabyte Z390 I Aorus Pro Wifi only has an X16 PCIe, slot...

The fenvi store says it works in an x4, x8, x16 slot and its not accurate but I have another motherboard that I bought because it has an x4 PCIe slot, but is a work in progress...

have you remembered to disable the onboard WiFi via the bios?

the 2 slots everybody uses it on is the lowest and second lowest pcie slots on the board. X8 x4 x16 is all Irrelevant As the slot will adapt to the card instantly.

Sounds like the card itself is faulty. Does it work in windows?

or are you using to many pcie lanes possibly or crossing them somewhere?

Yes it works in windows... and I don't know if I am using too many pcie lanes,  I only have the wifi/bluetooth and no more...

have you got a spare ssd or hard drive knocking around that you can do a test boot with and clean install Catalina as a test to see if it’s the install itself as you shouldn’t be having a lot of the problems that you do?

if I was you it would be the first thing I would do at this point tbh buddy.

Yep i have, and another Asus TUF Z390M Gaming (non Wifi) motherboard and CPU, but is a work in progress because no matter what I do I wasn't able to install macOS in it, only windows. I wanted to change because the fenvi card and because this present Broadcom card when I install an fresh copy of macOS in the first days work flawlessly with streaming music to my AirPods and HK Bluetooth speaker, after a few days it starts stuttering and never recovers only with a re installation of macOS.

to contribute to the feedback of the topic: in my case, I did not disable the Wi-Fi integrated in the BIOS and Fenvi  is working perfectly in macOS.   I even use the wifi integrated in Windows instead of Fenvi, because the integrated is faster than Fenvi.

It's good to know @Praetorianus, hackintoshing is funny that way, it's allways different from machine to machine...

Thanks today I learned various things that I didn't know...

Sorry for the late reply - I used 'PlistEdit Pro' to apply the patch (exactly same the patch I am using in Mojave and Catalina under Clover, so it is not just an OC patch). Tried applying it with Xcode but getting Hex errors, 'Plist Pro' converts values automatically for you.

The Patch is all you need to add to the config.plist - no extra kext or anything, just rebuild cache/repair permissions/ reboot and all should be well.

Thnx!!! It worked! I had an old patch enabled so it was conflicting.

Hello I have the same pieces but I do not have the graph yet, I use the integrated Intel 630 I have downloaded the efi to clover but the screen remains black when starting.
What parameter do I have to change to use the integrated graphics? Thank you.
