Mmmmm... i just realized that you are trying to install mavericks... my usb installer was made with El Capitan, using: sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/capi --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app --nointeraction

 

as i said by the messenger of this site, let me build my asus motherboard h81m-k , proces G3250 , download mavericks and try by this side how this behave... to figure it out what and where to make the changes (bios, version of clover and version of mavericks)...

i will inject nvidia drivers ´cause i will use an nvidia 210 GPU, (i don´t know the compatibility of your ATI)

 

i´ll tell you when i make the first test...

Yeah. sounds good.

 

My ATI HD5670 works with Mavericks OOB (if of course I can get Mavericks to install). I used it before on a P35 rig which was great until one day (and I have no idea what happened) Mavericks had a kernel panic which seemed to spread to all my other back up installations. (all of them went down) and I couldn't figure out what the issue was.

 

So I got this new board about 6 months ago, and it turns out it's a problem (Haswell) and so is my new processor Pentium 1150 4th generation.

 

So... choices are... try to get this working or buy a better processor and board.

 

Logic dictates that plan A must at least be tried first.

i am stock with my asus motherboard... did you change something more in the BIOS?

did you recreate the usb instaler with certain tool?

what version of macOS are you using with the instaler? mavericks 10.9.5 ? or other version?

my ASUS H81M-K has the bios version 2.10.1208  (build date 02/22/2016)

 

still making test with my rig...

 

EDIT: I did cancel the test for nvidia 210, i couldn't make it work! does anybody use this gpu card and could you tell me in general words how to make it work and what OS X version recommend?

Siamo riusciti a trovare 10.12.5 Sierra oggi in esecuzione dopo un sacco di gingillarsi. Ho iniziato ieri. 

Il mio sistema è un G3258 con GA-H81-DS2 w / BIOS FJ, 4GB di RAM e GTS250 Nvidia, in esecuzione in un vecchio caso G4 Mac :)

Ho usato Trifoglio in versione 4077 per fare questo lavoro, con FakeSMC.kext, NullCPUPowerManagement.kext e RealtekRTL8111.kext nella cartella 10.12 di kexts

Inoltre, ho generato SSDT-2.aml per il G3258 e mettere che nella cartella patch.

avvio post ho usato Clover 4077 di nuovo per installare il partizione EFI. 
Network va bene, il sonno funziona bene. Ho usato correzione ALC di Toleda su GitHub per cercare di ottenere audio di lavorare, ma la giuria è ancora fuori su questo. 
 
Spero che questo aiuta qualcuno sul loro cammino.

The Pentium Haswell only works with mountain lion 10.8.5. But with clover and a little bit of work it is possible have a pentium haswell working in the latest version of Mac OS X.

 

if you have a G1850
./ssdtPRGen.sh -target 2 -p G1850

Once finished you will have the ssdt.aml on the ~/Library/ssdtPRGen/. Move it to /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched

 

If your motherboard is series 8 rename to SSDT-2.aml but if is series 9 rename to SSDT-4.aml

 

 

 

Does anyone knows if the ssdt.aml file needs to be renamed as ssdt-2.aml for a Pentium G4400 (1151) processor?  it is for a ASUS H110M series...

On El Capitan it worked without a problem but on Sierra it's dead.

 

Should I change something ? Or do I need to apply your pacthes for High Sierra even on Sierra ?

I'm trying very hard but keeps on failing in installing Sierra 10.12 on my hackintosh.

 

Mobo: Asus H81-m D

Procie: Intel G3260 (haswell)

Video Card: GT 710 (1gb kepler) connected via hdmi

Hard drive: 1TB seagate

RAM: 8gb viper patriot

 

 

Currently running on the drive is my working Snow Leopard 10.6.8

 

I used the forbidden beast to create an installmedia of sierra on my 16gb flash drive.

 

The creation was finished, and it also created an EFI partition on the usb drive.

 

1. I mounted the usb EFI partition and edited the config.plist that i found on /EFI/CLOVER/config.plist according to the suggestions. Adding the KernelToPatch exactly as sysctl suggested. And then added -xcpm on the BOOT portion of the plist.

 

Saved the plist and then checked if there is a nullcpumanagement.kext in the /EFI/CLOVER/kext/10.12 and in the /EFI/CLOVER/kext/other. There is none.

 

On both directories, i made sure fakesmc.kext is present. It is there.

 

But booting on verbose, i get this panic screen.

 

Please help.

If you can provide me a working config.plist compatible for my setup i'll very much appreciate it.

 

I edited the config by hand via textwrangler as snow leopard has no working clover configurator.

 

And do i still have to patch the sierra mach_kernel in the USB installer?

You must put your DSDT on Clover/ACPI/origin and SSDT on Clover/ACPI/patched on your installer.

 

Sure it will work.

 

All haswells celeron and pentium are supported with a kind of cosmetic patch.

is there anyone who installed HS DP?

in my case, can't install HS. very strange issue.

The closest I've come is using cpuid 0x0106E0, 306A0 gets kernel panic. It ends in white screen and gIOScrenlockstate. I had to cheat and use a cloned disk but with clone I can use 0x0306A0.

I dont have a problem for using sierra to install or boot.

 

But if i try to install HS from usb, i cant pass first log with -v. I hard to see log. Because log pass fast with -v.

 

I just saw AppleIntelCpu kext kernel panic with mach_reboot message. Very strange.

 

I first guessed ACPI issue, so i disabled some ACPI tables. But still no luck. Continuely shown same message.

 

I'm considering to buy i3 cpu.. But i dont want. Cuz waste money...

 

Anyway can you use or install HS with no problem?

What is your cpu? My cpu is g4500 skylake pentium.

I have g3258 and it works fine in HS but I can't update or instal, I have to put disk in real MacBook or i5 6500 to get past updates. Once it's updated it works fine with 0x0306A0.

 

Hit space bar at clover screen and select -v don't reboot on panic and keep symbols to see final stopping point.

I buy i3 6100 skylake(used) to clear issue today. It can surely check problem.

 

After check, i will sell pentium.

i changed cpu from g4500 to i3 6100.

no more suffered symbol issue. i can use usb installer and recovery and install HS.

 

seems that maybe need more patch to avoid Symbol issue.

 

EDIT.

Cant catch correct issue now. Anyway i moved i3 processor.
