Hi all,

first of all thanks for your help.

My problem is that after booting from the USB, until it leaves the screen with the Apple spend more than 10 minutes and 30 minutes later the colored icon appears and doesnt start  the installation.

I use SMBIOs 13,1

These are the components.

Gigabyte GA-Z87N-WIFI

Samsung 840 Evo SSD Series 120GB SATA3

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 OC 2GB GDDR5

Intel Core i7-4770 3.4Ghz

 Corsair Vengeance PC3-1280 DDR3 1600 8GB CL10.

Any idea?

Where i can fin the right BIOS configuration for a Vanilla install.

Thank you very much for your help

Look, many problems leave us to get KP or to don't get installation screen... sometimes is a bad bios configuration, other is Bad usb installer configuration...

Because of this, try adjust your Bios like that guide teach and if your mobo has UEFI in Bios, please enable it...

Other thing... Use that solution i gave to you... is very usefull :)

I cant find all the options from this guide  http://olarila.web337.kinghost.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1804

in my Z87N Gigabyte

  • ACPI 2.0 support NO IDEA
  • ACPI APIC support NO IDEA
  • Execute Disable Bit (NX bit, XD bit) Just use enebale or disebale
  • HPET support (High Precision Event Timer) NO IDEA
  • Enhanced Intel SpeedStep NO IDEA
  • Enhanced Halt State (C1E) OK

Se existir a opção, configure como indicado

  • HPET mode: 64-bit NO IDEA
  • SATA mode: AHCI OK
  • Limit maximum CPUID: Disabled OK

When i boot form muy usb i can reach the menu , i use the install option from US but the spinning color roll icon appears....

i dont know how to do it.

Il try to read more but if any body have an idea. wellcome!!

All images of the process

I have install but i cant boot from SSD i just can boot from USB

i dont have java installed to run system info so i have install java 7 bust doesnt work

I dont have audio and network

both kexts of the Guide are installed

Im in progress :-)

ok.. don't worries... follow these stpes to post-configuration:

Download clover(bootloader) and install it: http://sourceforge.n.../cloverefiboot/
if your mobo has uefi enabled in Bios, install Clover in UEFI mode, if not, install Clover in normal mode(don't check UEFI mode install in Clover)

After that use Hackintosh Vietnam to adjust everything: http://www.insanelym...imate-aio-tool/
* In the section CPU choose the CPU/Model of your computer (it will serve to create your SMBIOS within config.plist file)
* In SSDT section, select the Custom option, config.plist will be created on your desktop and you put that in EFI/Clove folder
* In Section Kext select AICPUPM patch (something like that lol) to correct AICPUPM and make OSX work well for you ...
* In section Grafik select an ideal option for your grafica intel ... up to you to configure and view the model description and screen resolution
* After selecting some important settings, but does not select anything useless or will mess up all your hard work
* If I am not mistaken in section Kext has the option to install FakeSMC, install this kext because it is very important for OSX and is the only kext really necessary.
*In Tools section select SSDT generate, to generate a SSDT in Extra folder in HDD, get this SSDT from Extra folder and put in EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched folder, after that delete Extra folder in HDD

Make all these steps
OBS: Don't re-boot before make all these steps...

  • 2 weeks later...

I have NullCPUPowerManagement.kext in S/L/E but my computer is able to sleep and wake without any problem, S6.3 suggests that this shouldn't be the case.  I'm just about to try and sort out my power management but I don't want to jump ahead until I know what's going on with this.
