So I thought I would just add my two cents to this thread and berate me if im not following the flow of the arguement. I'll preface with the fact that I'm nineteen and have been in two long term relationships (each a year or so long) and two shorter ones. I'm still a virgin and still friends with every girl ive ever dated. That's not to say we didnt fool around, just no sex. My personal view is that as long as people are emotionally and physically balanced enough to deal with having sex, even if its no strings attached or in a relationship, then they should be allowed to do as they please. If it makes you happy and both of you are fine and able to deal with the consequences then its alright. I've put off the whole having sex thing mainly becuase of the fact that I'm not able to afford to start a family at the moment ( i worry too much about that whole pregnancy thing). Thats not to say it isnt for other people, and yes i intend to sleep with the woman i am going to marry, just like i intend to move in with her and see how that goes. I belive every person should do so, it seems to help strengthen the relationship and allows you to get to know the other person.

we want pics from you :)

:D

I want pics too!

I also want to chime back in here and say that the next person that tries to invoke Godwin's Law into this thread is gonna get my boot in their arse.

But George W. Bush _IS_ a Nazi. The more I hear about the U.S. Government the more similarities I see between it and a fascist goverment. They kill people, for god's sake...they just cover it up so well, with the media on their side, that the majority of American Idiots don't realize it.

Being an American, I can say that I do not believe that many people here like bush anymore. Hell, I live in the conservative state of Texas, and some people I know took their bush stickers off their bumpers, and their American flags off of their porch. I rarely come by someone my age (20) that actually likes the guy. I believe most of the Bush supporters are the older generations , though I can not provide evidence to back this up. And the people that still approve Bush's actions generally have something they call faith. I call it ignorance, but I will let them call it whatever they want.

As for American media.... I agree. It's pretty bad. However, I don't agree that the media is on the government's side. Unfortunately, instead of focusing on things that matter on a worldwide scale, the media here tends to focus on things that bring more in more viewers. More viewers is more income from advertisers. They tend to focus on things that really don't matter on a worldwide scale, such as the morality of {censored} marriage, and some random girl (out of thousands) missing. They will literally talk about the same damn missing girl for weeks (sometimes even months) at a time. Unfortunately, because my fellow "American Idiots" prefer viewing this garbage over real news, we are all stuck with it. Since commercial time takes up half of the show, there is no room to discuss any important issues. And this why I don't watch T.V. I rely on the internet for (almost) everything.

@ strong bible believers:

Genesis 1:28

God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number;

fill the earth and subdue it.

C'mon, this is the 21st century.

Historically, the people add protections and rules to the Bible in the past in

order to prevent them from getting overcrowded and ill, and to not leave

young mothers on their own.

But today, we have pills and condoms a social security and other things.

Imho it is not ok, to lie like "Yea, I definately want a relationship" :D

But girls want sex, too. There is a piece of pr0n in all of us :)

And while we're at it: Don't trust anyone who wants to sell you "war" or violence

in any way as a good or needful thing in the name of -no matter what- religion, to

reach higher goals.

Check yourself before you...whoops...too late.

The media in the US, for the most part, is NOT on the side of George W. Bush. Your mainstream outlets have made it their ultimate goal to try to bring him down. We need to go back only to what happened with Dan Rather and the falsified memos to realize that. To the US media, its not the nature of the evidence...its the serouisness of the charge...Dan Rather then refused to ask the question or address it about the memos because it didn't fit his agenda. And it was a very serious charge they were addressing. But the evidence was {censored}. Bill Burkett made it up. That was something that they tried to simply ignore because of their agenda...

The media is free to report on what it wants to in the middle of the battlefield and its the FIRST TIME that has ever been done. If you think the story is not getting out, go out and report it for yourself. But before you decide to go out on the battlefield remember: this is the same media that gush over Michael Moore and the like every time they have a chance.

As for sex before marriage. Its been said before, this is the 21st century. So yes do it. But you don't need to try and sleep with everything with a pulse...that is a bad idea.

wow... lets get off the bush topic... it is a commonly known fact that everyone hates him.

I really don't think this thread is going anywhere. Most people just concluded that everyone is different and to let them do want they want.

:):P:offtopic::offtopic::offtopic::offtopic::offtopic::offtopic::offtopic:

Bush is not a Nazi. And take that discussion to a different thread. This thread is not about politics.

Not everyone hates Bush. Generalized statements just look stupid. I don't hate Bush. I don't agree with everything he has done, but I don't hate him, so your statement is automatically false.

Again start a new thread if you want to discuss Bush and keep this topic ontopic.

(my mind went into the gutter with the topic and the off topic.. and there are so many things I could have said, but in order to not get crass.. i won't. there may be children present)

51% of the country voted for President Bush in the last election. I certainly wouldn't say that -everybody- hates him. Nor would I make the bold statement that everbody hates John Kerry. So let it be dropped with that.

Or maybe they just hated him less?
