Hi MaLd0n thanks for all your work and effort. What you do guys is impressive :-)

I've an Acer Aspire 5740 (i5 430M) with ATI 5470m and I'm currently on 10.6.8 getting full QE/CI at 1366x768x32 with some minor glitches in finder and the water ripples in the dashboard that seem to be normal in SL.

I am pretty happy with the system, but I would like to optimize it with a litle bit of DSDT tuning. I've used your autopatcher with the profile for acer 5470G, but unfortunately ACPI is still not working, so I don't have sleep, battery level, etc.

The other problem I have is with the soundcard. Unfortunately if I use vodooHDA 0.2.61 or 0.2.72 I can't mute the mic loopback, so I'm struck in 0.2.59 with no mic input and the vodoohda panel not working, complaining about the number of channels.

Could you please help me in the creation of the DSDT for this laptop?

Wow! that was fast. Thanks for the tip on the audio. Now mic works fine with vodooHDA 0.2.56. Anything over it has the mic loopback, but 0.2.56 is just perfect.

Unfortunately the DSDT is not helping for ACPI. The laptop keeps freezing if it tries to sleep, battery icon can not be activated, etc. Am I missing something?

If you need any other file or command output please let me know

your DSDT is not original

I did forget to remove DSDT.aml from my boot disk last time; this time I booted to without DSDT.aml and created attached zip again!

I hope this is going be ok...

This last winter I successfully ran the DSDT autopatcher on my Gigabyte GA G41-ES2L motherboard (with Nvidia 8400GS silent video card and Core 2 Duo processor), but am now getting compile errors. Ok, I've changed the smbios.plist for the one in the MacBookPro6,1 in the zip of the first post. About this mac shows correct information, but acpi still not working.

For example clicking on show battery status in menu bar is automatically deactivated after a couple of seconds.

Ok, I've changed the smbios.plist for the one in the MacBookPro6,1 in the zip of the first post. About this mac shows correct information, but acpi still not working.

For example clicking on show battery status in menu bar is automatically deactivated after a couple of seconds.
