ok i have removed both those files what do i do with the extra folder that i downloaded

replace folder

install Chameleon RC5

put DSDT in Extra folder

reboot -v

I am on windows 7 right now and will be shortly installing OSX Lion DP2 onto the second drive. Can't find a link for DP4 or Master Golden. Well MG was on BS then taken off for some reason?

 

 

 

FOr now I have only DSDT and Device list as a text file. I can get you the rest with "Run Me" after I install OSX but for now can you get me a working DSDT so I can boot lion?

My hardware: Lenovo Y460 laptop. i3 330m (2 cores), ati 5650 1gb, 2gb ram, HM55 chipset

Problems: sleep, brightness changing, speedstep, shutdown and reboot are not working, cmos clears to defaults.

its a GA-EP35C-DS3R

im reluctant to use the EP35-DS3R and P35C-DS3R variants currently on your list.

there are differences.

i now have P/C states. native speedstep works. CSTInfo=19136773

i also upgraded all the way to 10.6.7.

when i goto sleep however. the system console reports that System Doze

although hdd & monitor turns-off and wakes up. i dont think that is sleep.

im sending you my latest send_me.zip file based on this setup.

pls give me your opinion on whats wrong with it

ok everything seems to work fine now the only thing i cant get to work is the battery indicator when i unplug the charger it stays on the charging symbol anyway to fix that

Try another version VoodooBatery

 

Yes my problem was voodooHda, but its now fixed...

OSMetaClass: Kext org.netkas.FakeSMC class FakeSMC is a duplicate;kext org.netkas.fakesmc already has a class by that name.

but in my Extras and S/L/E their were no dupes.

 

Hopefully this DSDT helps figure something out.

Any Idea why I can only get a bootloader to run by using USB (not to mention the only one i can get to load by USB is Nawcom's ModUSB). Once I have installed 10.6.8 and used [url=&quot;http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/&quot;]#####[/url] to install Chimera or Chameleon, I get a constant reboot loop...it doesn't even boot into the loader...just a blackscreen that keeps shutting on and off, on and off, every 3 seconds.

 

PS - This is before I had you create the DSDT, so we'll see after this install.
