Damn.. no tabs on the top bar... i was enjoying that on my netbook

Otherwise fast as hell

My reaction was, GREAT!, let the bar be where it supposed to be. Tittle bar is supposed to be for dragging around not to be crowded with tabs and extra buttons. But if you insist its better i supposed there could be Terminal command line you can type to get to the top?

There is not much to drag around in a 800x480 screen, hence my need for tabs on the top bar + auto-hide menu bar

I would be interested in how to restore that...

Classic or new styled tabs can be get by entering the following command in a terminal window:

defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugSafari4TabBarIsOnTop -bool [TRUE/FALSE]

And Google is your friend ;)

I want the blue loading line back  Any ideas how to do that ? ;)

Here's how to change the progress bar, enter the following command in a terminal window:

defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugSafari4IncludeToolbarRedesign -bool FALSE
defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugSafari4LoadProgressStyle -bool FALSE

Remember people, Safari 4 Final is for 10.5.7+

You obviously missed the release notes and the WWDC keynote because it even works with Tiger – like djmastera2000 said with the security updates.

Those don't work with the WWDC release. According to this site, there's no way to revert it back.

Ah bummer. I was in too much of a hurry to verify these (I don't use Safari myself).

Note: Apple apparently listened to 'someone' because tabs do not belong in the titlebar (making Safari a UI nightmare).

So far Safari 4 has done nothing but stall for me. I went back to using Opera.

+1 I could not agree more, after testing safari 4 and 4.0.1 is even worst than safari 3. It crash in any site that have a lot of flash and javascript. I am using firefox 3.5 RC3 until they fix safari 4.
