DiaboliK
Belkin F5D7050 54Mbps Wireless USB2.0 Adapter also check the wiki. most that work in 10.4.5 should work with 10.4.6 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16302-usb-wifi-dongle-for-1046/#findComment-105160 Share on other sites

helios
The Sweex 54Mbit USB dongle works fine in 10.4.6. And it's really cheap too! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16302-usb-wifi-dongle-for-1046/#findComment-105364 Share on other sites
Pukos
Instead of the USB dongle i choose to buy a DELL TrueMobile 1450 802.11a/b/g Wireless MiniPCI has arrived and it works!!!! Great The chipset is a Broadcom BCM94309MP. Cheap and surely better than my intel 2100. Swad
Does anyone have one that just works out of the box? As in, gets recognized as airport? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16302-usb-wifi-dongle-for-1046/#findComment-118098 Share on other sites

kramer2k
Use the search button. I don't know of a USB dongle that works OOB (out of box)...But I would suggest either the D-Link G-122 vB1 or the linksys WUSB54G v4. Those both use the RT2500 chipset. Many mainstream laptops these day have a whitelist in the BIOS that will provide only a small number of cards to work in them. ie. The truemobile will not work in a new HP laptop. That said.. I'm rocking on. with a Dlink DWL122 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16302-usb-wifi-dongle-for-1046/#findComment-118650 Share on other sites
