  1. ATI HD 5770

OK. Now I made it work, BUT I can't have 1920*1080 (max resolution supported is 1600*1200), why?
  2. ATI HD 5770

I followed the guide...as far as I understand it (I'm romanian and I if any romanian wants to explain me in our language please PM me); I've deleted the Nvidia kexts...still no work. Startup in normal mode freezes (black screen, gray screen, artifact screen, KP) and startup in safe-mode works well but no Hardware Acceleration or QE or CI, only resolution can be changed to max and in profiler the card is recognized. I still need help to start-up normally. Please help me. Sorry for my bad English.
  3. ATI HD 5770

Guys I give up to try on my own so I kindly ask for your help: Please, tell me what am I doing wrong? I've installed ATY_INIT and drivers from netkas.org, I'm using that custom loader, I've disabled GraphicsEnabler from boot.plist. MY PROBLEM IS: I can't boot-up in normal mode. I get kernel panic. When I boot-up in safe mode, it works ok but with no QE/CI, so please tell me what am I doing wrong so I can boot in normal mode. Thanks a lot! Waiting for reply. PS: I'm using a Powercolor ATI HD5770 1GB

Now, when I connect one of them nothing happens, it's like the system is ignoring'em. I tried to install patches, but with no luck, i tried to delete AppleHPET, again no luck. I don't know what else to do, can someone tell us?

  8. iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 Released!

I had a problem in release 1.3...when I used the latest nforce drivers I had a kernel panic when the hard drive was reading/writing big files, when I used older nforce drivers that problem was gone but my SATA DVD was not reading any disc....do you know if in 1.4 I have the same problem? My spec is Asus M2N-MX AMD 4200+ GeForce 8600GT 256/128, SATA HDD and SATA DVD-ROM...please reply to this post as I am kinda desperate because of this problem. Thanks. PS: That motherboard has nForce 4 chipset LE: I tried installing it and i can't even boot from the DVD...it stucks at AppleNForceATA: found 1 units. ...and after booting with -x -v -s -f I have the Still waiting for root device problem. Please help!!!
  9. My DVD Drive is not working [iDeneb 10.5.5]

i have same problem and i've also opened this topic but no one answered....before i changed kernel dvd worked like a charm http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=151993 check it out...

OK first of all I want to thank you for taking your time reading this. I'm using iDeneb 10.5.5 v1.3 on an AMD Athlon X2 4200+, Asus M2N-MX, 4GB DDR2800, SATA DVD-ROM, SATA HDD, GeForce 8600GT 256/128. Anyway my main problem is: when I insert a CD/DVD in the DVD-ROM the system doesn't mount that DVD like I didn't even insert it...I can't eject the disk, the only way to get the disk out is by restarting the whole thing...I think i'm having this problem after I installed 9.4.0 StageXU (or how you spell it) kernel. I know when i had 9.3.0 I could read disks without any problem but on that kernel when i was using the HDD for high speed transfers I had kernel panic (that's why i needed to change the kernel to 9.4.0). Any suggestion guys? Thanks again for reading and I'm sorry for my bad english...
