(For those wondering, read this post from another thread)

If possible mention your cpu in the post for quick reference (also please don't zip the txt file).

!!!!

hw.physicalcpu_max: 2

hw.physicalcpu: 2 !!!! I have only one real CPU ( 2 Cores) ???? - Perhaps BIOS reports wrong, or does it mean 1 Core is 1 physical and only 2 hyperthreading is not pysical 2 ?

E4400_CPUID_Log.txt

Thanks a lot everyone! This is going to be extremely useful.

Update: Ah already within 30 min of looking at the first few logs I've found and fixed a bug.

Keep the logs coming, however I already have logs from the following CPUs:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor

AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core Processor

Intel® Core2 CPU

Intel® Core2 Quad CPU

Intel® Pentium® D 2.8 GHz

So if you have a CPU *other* than the above, please post the log. We specially want the following cpu logs:

1) Intel Atom

2) Intel Pentium 4 without Hyperthreading (old willamette and northwood cores)

3) Pentium D 805

4) AMD Sempron

5) AMD Opteron

6) Intel Xeon (both old and new)

Thanks to everyone who posted their cpuid logs - with this data I've finally fixed all cache information and cpuid code for all CPUs in existence and known to man. LOL!

Thread is being closed because of this.

Cheers.
