Happy 4th of July

Come on guys - this isn't the topic for debating/arguing. If you have an opinion to share about politics/war, then post it in the Real Life section.

Whoever pastes a huge USA-Flag and July 4th jubilations on their post should not be surprised when political comments are provoked. Like it or not, the USA and its flag has become a symbol for war-imperialism, turbo-captialism crushing the lives and cultures of people world-wide who are not "lucky" enough to live in your heavily militarized country.

That my post - that simply referred to a poll among active MILITARY (who by a vast majority want the USA out of Iraq) was deleted by the administrators and we are left with the one-liner gibberish from SDRacer48... THIS does not speak much for the so-called "independence" of the USA and its citizens. Can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen: or... stop posting USA-Flags and one-liner insults....

forward thru the fog,

ninetto

What's that of a silly red&blue pic? Never saw that before. Apart from that, it needs a grafic revamp.

hey wow, as feared stupid & ignorant GB attends the opening ceremony of the Olympics in China ..

You guys need to get independent from {censored}s like that. But go figure which nation not too long ago chose between the future of the planet offered by Al Gore and ......

honestly, it's too late by now .. game over ..

FORUM GUYS: keep patriotic stuff like that out of the forums for the future - I was living in US for 3 years, I am watching international news on different channels very closely, and looking at the record I can say that the US of A hardly has *anything* to be proud of right now. About this topic: it is one the least independent peoples in the world as of now .. ! The *average* American needs to shift from electing narrow-minded idiots like GB & Co. and develop a *global* view of the world instead (which is still a looooong way to go) ..

Like it or not, the USA and its flag has become a symbol for war-imperialism, turbo-captialism crushing the lives and cultures of people world-wide who are not "lucky" enough to live in your heavily militarized country.
I can 2nd that a 100% (unfortunately)!

You're lucky. In Cuba they'd have locked you up and shut down the forum! :D

In response to his PM...

Only a moron will correct someone's grammar when they are being ridiculed.

I feel you are an arrogant {censored} who likes to bring attention to yourself. I feel that you constantly complain and {censored} how this country is going to {censored}, yet you display an absence of constructive criticism. Hell, you don't even offer a realistic way of solving any of our problems.

I have already blocked you so I cannot view your idiotic posts, but please, I beg you, put some more consideration and thought into your arguments. Don't open your mouth and criticize something if you don't have a legitimate solution.

Anyone can be an antagonist, only a select few can be problem solvers....

You are still an idiot! You ruined the Happy 4th of July thread. Please let me know when it is your birthday, so I can {censored} all over it. That is why I think what you did is immature and unforgivable. If I hated a person so much I wished they'd die, I at least wouldn't wish that they'd die on their birthday, that is just {censored}ed....

This has nothing to do with OSx86 and it's not even a news to most of people in the world.

I celebrated the 4th of July. But then what about all the other countries important holidays?

The best thing to do is not put this kind of political "news" in FNR. Move it the real life issues.

You're lucky. In Cuba they'd have locked you up and shut down the forum! ;)

Last time I looked, it was the USA who was torturing and kidnapping innocent people WORLDwide (offering neither apologies nor damage claims in the case of e.g Khaled El Masri ) when it wasn't busy dropping 500 pound bombs on them...

Got your laser-guided bomb targeted on me now? Any space left on your No-fly list ?

peace, ninetto

Cody,

You're even thicker than I originally thought. First of all let's get some facts straight. You are the one that originally PM'ed me to say "Your an idiot Have a nice day". I simply pointed out that considering you didn't know the difference between "Your" and "You're" that maybe it wasn't me who was the idiot. And I didn't feel the need to return your pleasantry "Have a nice day" because if ignorance is bliss then you're already having one. Then you send me a reply that simply repeats "Your an Idiot HAHAHHAH Have a nice day". Now, if there was ever any doubt about you being the idiot you have completely removed it with your simple minded repetition of a reply. So my response to you was:

"I would be willing to continue this conversation if you had something more interesting to say other than "Your an idiot" and "Have a nice day". But since that seems to be the total some of your vocabulary and you insist on simply repeating it I will decline. You are a prime example of the decline of education that exists in this country.

Any man can make a mistake. Only a moron insists on repeating it."

I then blocked your messages thinking that would be the end of it. But OooH NO, Cody not dun yet. He gunna ridicule me in publik. So now it's my turn.

In response to your first sentence, your logic is severely flawed, it should read "Only a moron says Only a moron will correct someone's grammar when they are being ridiculed. I will give you points for your expanded vocabulary. Did your professor help you with this?

In the following paragraph it's obvious you don't know the meaning of arrogant, my post was not about me or my personal achievements. Now the word "{censored}" on the other hand I'm sure you know intimately since that's where your head constantly resides. As far as bringing attention to oneself YOU'RE the one that had to post your flaming BS in the public forum. I'm only responding to your accusations. Since you repeat yourself again and again in the following paragraphs about not offering solutions I'll postpone commenting for now.

You blocked me? Well surprise! This is a public forum not PM. I get a chance to respond. Ain't it grrrrrreat? I DISPLAY an absense of constructive criticism? C'mon you're not really in college are you? Babble babble, drivel drone.

Yes, you prove your own point. Anyone CAN be an antagonist. So where's YOUR solution? You a problem solver? From your standpoint why aren't you putting YOUR ass on the front lines in Iraq instead of hiding in some party college in Florida wasting mommy and daddy's money?

As far as me offering a solution I've spent many years trying to make a difference. (BTW I'm easily old enough to be your grandfather) Some bits of advice I would offer would be to work on yourself before ever attempting to change someone else. Make sure you are moral and ethical in your dealings with your fellow human beings. Think before you act. Your words and actions cannot be retrieved once they have been set loose. Don't make rash judgements based on emotions. Experience is a great teacher if you learn from its lessons. History repeats itself, so read and learn. Just don't make the mistake of reading only the victors books. If enough time has passed the conquered have written their own story. Last but not least, time is fleeting, carpe diem. No one gets out alive.

Sorry I ruined your 4th. The meds aren't working for you. Seek psychiatric help soon. I'm serious.

Obviously because USA is better than any other country. Fact.
So the 4th of July became a front page news because USA is better? (By the bye, it is better in what sense? Its medical health care system or social benifit system?)

I don't see any other news team member writing in FNR about some country's independence day with its national flag. Why don't we do that? I am sure almost everyday we have "news" with a nice picture of flag.

This is ridiculous.

I understand the reporter's intention but it was thoughtless.
