About This File

What is this?

This automation app generates Hackintosh installer from original Mackintosh Installer app/disk image.

post-1193895-0-92277900-1471960919_thumb.png

Why do I need this?

  • If you are on a computer that does not support UEFI.
  • If you have hardwares on you computer that causes original installation image kernel panic.
  • If you have less than 2GB RAM.
  • If you are just too lazy to read the tutorial and install the original.

you'll need this app to alter the original installation image.

How does this work

Just drag the app/dmg file onto the image icon, click start and enjoy.

>>If you use Chameleon Bootloader, you can also drop your Chameleon Extra folder onto the app. App then will make this a Chameleon bootable image.

You're a dev?

my code is a mess, feel free to report an issue, or open up a pull request.

What EXTRA folder do you refer to? I have El Capitan installed on my Dell M6500 and runs fine. Of course I want to update to SIERRA but with no luck, always getting kernel Panic. The only folder I see is: EFI and there are all the kext folders etc.

Also, when trying to check the "Write to disk (takes longer) option the app just quits so the previous user above was right it is buggy. Please confirm

By the way I updated the tool to the latest version 2.0

Extra folder is used by chameleon boot loader, if you don't know what it is just don't use it.

Write to disk is buggy because it doesn't support many disk types. why don't you just use it the normal way, generate dmg  and write it to disk with your Disk Utility

Arsian, I am kind of the dummy one in this field, could you tell me exactly how to do the generate dmg and write to disk with disk utility? By writing to dis you mean do a DVD Media (CD) or how?  Thanks for not laughing.

I use installScript_1014fullapp script download 10.14.0.18A389 macOS Mojave.

I use LazyHackintoshGenerator to create a dmg as default.

I use DiskUtility to restore the partition to my USB drive.

I use my usb drive to boot and install 18A389 into a new partition formated APFS.

When the Progress bar being completed,an error appear.

I restart the computer and enter 18A389,it seem no problem.

Here is the log I found at /var/log/install.log.

Sorry for my poor English.
