Swad
Well, as you probably know, we've been working on the skin for some time now, but we've ran into a few issues. Our main goal is to integrate the Main Page (Mambo CMS) theme and a custom forum skin being developed by Groffy77. So here's what we need: 1. Someone very capable with CSS, comfortable with Mambo themes (or at least thinks that they can work with it) to help us tweak the header that can be found on the beta v3 skin. This header needs to be adapted for the Invision Power Board 2.1 and tweaked a little bit more. (This shouldn't be that hard, if you are good with CSS and know a little bit about Forum workings) 2. A few people who can help do specific work on a forum skin that has already been (mostly) finished. If you are fluent with CSS, Mambo Templates, or Invision Skins, and would be willing to donate a small amount of time to help us out with this project, we would all greatly appreciate it. The forum skin is on target for being finished by the last of October. Please consider helping us out! PM me or leave a note here stating that you can help. Thanks! domino
I have the skin you are using for mambo. I personally don't think you need to edit the style sheets to get what you want accomplished. Idabble a bit with skinning IPB on and off and I think hard coding the skin or wrapping the mambo theme around the board would do a better job. I'll get back on the bike (if time permits) and see what I can come up with. No promises, Domino

lane
I have made entire skins for IPB 1 & IPB 2 but I haven't played with 2.1 yet. If you are interested in some help just pm me or because I only check in on the site at once a week email me jer2eydevil88(insert at symbol)gmail.com. domino
It shouldn't be hard to wrap the portal headers and footer to IPB. I think the first priority is to make the Mambo Plate width 100%. That means getting a hold of the image source or create one from scratch. Who is the webmaster on this site? If anyone wants to colaberate (especially graphics wizards), please PM me and I'll send you IM info so we can all talk about it. If anyone wants to try it themselves, you will need the fallowing tools. You might have your own process, but just in case others need a bittle push. Sentertainment
Eh, Mambo? I've heard of it, but I have no idea what it is!? Also, yeah...I've moddified IPB skins alot, but I gave up on IPB, as you can see I still never finished my own forum's skin! I can do both IPB 1.X and IPB 2.X I've actually worked more on other peoples' forums than I have on my own. Well, I'm great with CSS...I've gone crazy with cross-browser compatability (I've went soo far in this that I found bugs in FireFox! Their bugs because they didn't make sense, so I looked them up and read about it!) Anyways, yeah, I can help out some... Usually as payment, people get a bit of traffic to my site in return. So if you want help, here's where I can help you: -Photoshop Graphics -Moderate Flash -CSS -VBScript -JS -xHTML -HTML -WML -PHP -Some ASP, not much -MySQL -VB6.0 -Some C++, not much

A failed hard drive on the part of our designer has set us back a day or so, but expect it within a week! You'll be impressed! I'm hoping it won't be a table based layout done in a WYSIWYG editor, like last time. Almost a week since your post, Mr. Admin.

ignorantcow
*sigh* Its gonna look good, so before you start doubting us have some faith! Alright. But remember. Tables must not be used for layout purposes! They are for tabular data only! Div's can be centered by specifying a width and margins to auto! *rant*
