  1. ATI HD 5770

I got a Sapphire 5770 1GB card set the UseAtiROM in com.apple.boot.plist copied boot7 into the root of my drive and its all working fine thanks to all the good info in this thread. I was using ANVAL's boot file but i found that it just booted to a black screen.... but when i added boot7 it worked fine. What is it in the boot7 file that enables the card to work correctly?
  2. i know this is an old topic but has any other solution been found for this problem? ive got a linksys wmp300n and having the same issues.
  3. Hi Cindori what BIOS revision are you currently using on your machine... im wondering if my problems are due to me using F9 and your DSDT which guessing could have been created from a lower revision.
  4. Snow Leopard on Bad Axe 2

yeah im still around mate still having some issues with my machine which im trying to sort out.
  5. Snow Leopard on Bad Axe 2

thanks to all the good info in this thread i can now boot into snow leo on my badaxe1! awesome stuff guys
  6. why dont you just include fakesmc in the initrd.img and put it on rapid share rather than getting everyone to add it themselves... ive always had trouble when adding kexts as i get an image checksum error or something like that when i try to boot the cd.
  7. ATI X1600XT 256MB

A while back i used EFIStudio to install the GFX string for my Gigabyte X1600XT card and it was in the list of cards now when i try it only has radeon HD cards and not any of the older ones... is there another version i can use?
  8. thanks mate.. i will look into getting one of the gigabyte boards i think
  9. I have the original 975XBX intel board and want to upgrade to something that supports quad core i like this board because i only have 3 kexts in the DFE Extra folder on my hard drive and everything works perfectly! if i get the new XBX2 aka BadAxe2 will i have to change my setup at all or are the boards fairly similar chipset wise?
  10. Ok ive got my original Badaxe board working 100% with the new dfe chameleon bootloader! the only problem i had was my AppleHDA.kext in the /Extra/Extensions/ folder wouldn't load and i had to install it into the extensions folder..... has anyone else had that problem and solved it? I will post up a list of the extensions i used later on when i get home, I removed the ps2 kexts and only had to add ALCInject.kext and dsmos.kext to the extensions from the bumpy iso.
  11. ok ive got the new bootloader installed on my hard drive and its working fine with the 10.5.4 update from apple!! the only kext i had to install is my AppleHDA one as it wouldnt work from inside the /Extra/Extensions folder!? anyone got it working?
  12. yes you should be able to run the vanilla kernel! i have a 8600GT also and that works fine with nvinject
  13. AppleHDA Solution - Work in progress

  14. AppleHDA Solution - Work in progress

Hi everyone! well ive done alot of searching and for the life on me cannot figure out how to get my audio working one my 975XBX (BadAxe) motherboard... according to the dump i made i have a sigmatel 9221D audioc chipset. When i try the patcher with my dump or one of the supplied ones it doesnt do anything! im using the latest iATKOS which says i have audio output and shows the volume control and HD Audio Output in system preferences, but no sound comes out of any of the jacks! could someone help out or maybe PM me with the link to an already patched and working AppleHDA.kext?
