DSDT injection. Sounds like the framebuffer is not loaded which makes sense because the Bootloader does not support the cards yet.

For Hacks, no need. Just an error warning at the end due to lack of restore partition. Reboot and it's OK.

I don't have new video card so it's the same old affair of inputing device ID for odd AMD card.
WiFi is easier now since I have BRCM4329, which only requires running a script.

Try to use the framebuffer manually with "AtiConfig=xxx" (change the xxx by the differents framebuffer ) ;)
in an another time, you can send me a graphique BIOS dump and the result of your test with aticonfig.

Lack of restore partition here too,


otherwise works well.  Not even


new AppleHDA crash with the


AD1988B 7.1.kext which is actually


tuned VoodooHDA 2.7.2

Older NVidia cards work much better than old ATI (5000 series). I have a bunch of older NVidia cards but only 1 HD5450. The ATI5450 is not running well.

I have a System here with 3 7970's working with 10.8.2.  I'm using GraphicsEnabler=No and booting just fine.  I'm trying to figure out what I should do next should I just try the update or Should I extract the kext and try to run the 7970 new kext with 10.8.2 ?

I'm trying the 10.8.3 whit my 7970 but i'm stuck at this same screen whit the lasted chimera or chameleon ...

Installed the beta on Asus g53jw-A1 with Nvidia 460m GTX.  The only difference was from the Graphics side which works without patching, and no blue screen issues when waking from sleep or plugging additional screens, but lost about 30 point in Benchmark (Cinebench).  There is a new AppleHDA included that i replaced with my working 10.8.2 one once the install complete.
