Thanks for the bug reports - if you don't mind, it would really help us fix these bugs if you could e-mail relevant console.log entries or crashlogs for affected apps to joe.osborn@mac.com.  Please also ensure that you're using the newest version of SIMBL, and mention things like your Mac OS version, processor architecture, etc.  I'm not sure how long we'll be available to support Stoplight, but we at least want to fix the glaring errors immediately.

I'm surprised it's not working well in Safari - that was our most comprehensive test case, and I don't remember any bugs in our tests.  Of course we'll give it some more inspection.  Similarly, TextEdit and iCal were significant test cases for us.

Either way, Andy and I will look at these today.  Thanks!

First off: I've fixed the exclusion removal bug already.  Later today we'll be posting a patch with this and other fixes.

Second: Camino's website seems to be down, so I can't download it and test it.

Third: I've tracked down the Activity Monitor bug, too.  This should also fix other apps which have exactly one panel as their main window.

Fourth: We know what the bug in Terminal is, though the solution will require some thought.

As for the rest, we'll try and keep you all posted - but please send in those logs!

Behaviors: Default behaviors set to Mac OS Default and Fill Screen

- Azeureus default is quit but when set to hide, app quits anyway see ReaMe

- Yellow Mug Software stays hidden when set to quit

- GraphicConverter stays hidden when set to quit

- Opera stays hidden when set to quit

- Pref Setter stays hidden when set to quit

- iCal stays hidden when set to quit

- Path Finder stays hidden when set to quit

- Preview stays hidden when set to quit

- Activity Monitor stays hidden when set to quit

- Firefox stays hidden when set to quit

- iTerm maximize contains dark shade window color on top half and normal white window color on bottom half.

- no customization at all in iTunes see ReaMe

Application crashes: NONE

Wish list:

- Ability to list applications in alphabetically, quit, or Zoom

- have it's own application window in order to be able to re-size the application list. My app list is VERY long.

---------

Maximising safari only max's vertically, not horizontally.

no problem here.

To clarify something from the ReadMe: Stoplight can't work in Carbon apps like iTunes and almost certainly won't work in Java apps such as Azureus because of the way that InputManagers work - we would have to significantly extend or rewrite parts of it to accomodate Carbon and Java programs, and most hacks like Stoplight face similar limitations.  Sorry!

One possibility is for us to reframe Stoplight as an APE module, but we haven't looked at the particulars on that yet.  Either way, we'd have to rewrite the behaviors as well as the loading code.

I can confirm Domino's behaviors.

Also, when the red button in Colloquy is normally hit, it asks if you want to close the app. It still does this even with Spotlight set to "Hide."

BTW Joe, do you want bug reports emailed for odd behaviors or just for actual crashes?

I added preveiw to the exclude list and now i cant remove any apps from the exclude list >:D

I can add them but not remove them, and it doesnt appear to be working neways. Whatever it would be nice to have it it did work ;)

And yes i tried uninstalling and reinstalling fresh but still nothin. Well life goes on.
