My friend had one and he said it was really annoying to work on or change out hardware. I like the idea of painting the inside, that would probably be really cool. I also have the asus p5ld2-vm with a intel pentium d930. I am thinking of getting 2 identical sata drives to give raid 0 a shot. I would like to boot from them directly - at this moment i am using 10.4.6 without any troubles, despite the fact that my system doesnt come back from sleep mode. You mentioned that you have used raid on your old board but haven´t tried on the new asus. Please tell me if it works if you have already tried because i would only get the sata drives if it works.
