    Hi, I have GigaByte SandyBridge mobo and i was able to install macOS BigSur without iuses and works well . I can boot also Monterey but it’s not working fine because i have not Graphics Acceleration .... So the question is if you want a more recent macOS , you need the new hw to run it

    Hint: Catalina runs also well on HFS partition on HDD. You need only to clone from APFS to HFS (After you have installed it on APFs)

    Hi, I used this method too . I have an usb with clover and NVme driver to boot my nvme SSD internal drive. Bios doesn’t “see” nvme SSD /pcie adapter , but Clover yes. PCI adapter is slower that native nvme slot I got 800mbs /Rw than 3500mbs/RW speed Cheers
