Apple has released a number up updates over the last week or so, so here they all are:
The Audio Update 2007-001 addresses an issue with version 1.0 of the Mac OS X 10.4.10 Update in which a "popping" sound might be heard with some external speakers on Intel-based Macs. This update is recommended for all Intel-based Macs running Mac OS X 10.4.10.
Warning! This may mess up your audio on a Hackintosh.
The update provides:
- RAW camera support
- Mounting and unmounting external USB devices
- Support for 3rd party software applications
- Security updates
It seems that it updates it to the (rather odd) build number 8R2232 from 8R218. This update is for Intel Macs only. If you still haven't upgraded from 10.4.9, Software Update will get the v1.1 for you, rather than the original 10.4.9.
The v1.1 update includes the Audio Update 2007-001 update.
Also this week, we have seen iTunes 7.3 for both Mac and Windows.
New features in this version include:
- Activate your iPhone service
-Sync iPhone with your music, movies, TV shows, and more
- Wirelessly share digital photos from any computer in your home with Apple TV
Note: 10.4.10 is required to use the iPhone.
