  1. I once had Leo4All v1 working on this laptop but I can't seem to find a copy of that anywhere so I'm stuck trying what I can. I have a Toshiba Satellite M55-S141 that I'd like to get 10.4 or 10.5 running on, Iv'e tried several different 'distributions' to no avail: LawlessPPC 10.5.4 Still Waiting for Root Device XxX r2 10.4.11 Won't Boot Leo4All v4 Still Waiting for Root Device Leo4All v3 Won't Boot Kayway 10.5.6 Won't Boot iDeneb Won't Boot With this system (details below) is there a distribution that should provide at least basic functionality. I need networking, wireless or wired. I would like QE or CI but I don't think that the 200M has a chance at that.
  2. ECS PF21 Extreme

This motherboard doesn't appear to be on any of the HCLs I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck with it, I've had it siting here doing nothing with 3.0Ghz (HT) and 4GB DDR2 so I'm gonna' try and throw Leopard on it with Kalaway's 10.5.1 disk...
  3. AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ Which is correct.
  4. w00t just got everything working, infact im posting from my hackintosh now. THANKS EDDIE EDIT: WOW i guess this means I need to update my sig.
  5. Driver for nForce4 LAN

I just tried to get the driver installed with no luck, nothing is showing in the log other then the lines showing the commands that I am running. dmseg also did not show anything out of the ordinary. The motherboard is the Asus M2NPV-VM with the nForce4 chipset. I am trying this in 10.5.2 if there is any additional information that I can provide let me know.
  6. I was able to get to a desktop.... I will report back in a bit when I get stuff working. Untill then a BIG thanks to Eddie
  7. I wonder if someone could send me a PM with the location of where he is doing his current releases.
  8. Although I'm not sure which version I have I just tried on my system and after the GUI loads and I get the Language Selection screen, my KB/Mouse do not work, I have tried both USB and PS/2 Keyboards and only USB mice. Any suggestions?

  10. This may sound like a stupid question, but is there any chance of this working on my PPC Mac? BTW: as soon as it finishes installing I will seed more, I already uploaded twice what I Downloaded.
  11. [SELL] G3 Case

I have lowered the price and I am willing to negotiate. I could really use some old OSX cds ;) ......
  12. [SELL] G3 Case

I have a 3rd one it runs 10.4.11 now just as fast as it could be. Infact its as fast to open things like photoshop as my 2.2GHz AMD(Winblows). with 400Mhz CPU 512MB Ram, 32MB Video card. But that one is not for sell.
  13. [SELL] G3 Case

I have 2 of these, one has a System Board and CPU (400MHz I believe)(DOES NOT BOOT). Both are in fairly good condition, I was going to use them to do a hackintosh mod but I just don't have the time. I am asking $20 + s&h, which will just cover my cost, Price is negotiable. All of the pictures are available in a larger resolution at http://unkwndesign.com/For%20Sale/macg3cases/ as well as a cupple pics not included here. EDIT: Lowered Price 4-4-08
  14. G3/OSX Display Issue

I appreciate you help, as per another website I found about an hour or so ago on page 92 of google, I was able to resolve this issue by resting my prom Command-Option-P-R (Win-ALT-P-R on my windows KB). Thank You
  15. G3/OSX Display Issue

I was not able to figure out how to boot to single user mode however, I attached the HD to a USB enclosure and plugged it into my PC, via TransMac I was able to navigate to the /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ folder, however there is no com.apple.Boot.plist. I'm not 100% sure that this is the correct location, but this is what I've found on Google. Also to clarify(IDK if this could be the cause) thus far I have booted to the 10.3 CD-Roms and installed, but on reboot (Before the final setup, and after the files are copied and installed), this is when I am encountering the problem, In a few hours (after some sleep, I hope), I'm going to work and we have a couple of CRTs there, I'm going to try and attach one to see if I can boot that way. I am familiar with Unix/Linux systems, as well as having some experience with the BSD shell in OSX, so if shell work is needed I should be fine (I am a Linux server admin, Debian to be exact). I will post back tonight after work weather or not the CRT works.
