Apple announces two new iPhones

the 4.7 is the best for me. the 5.5 looks like an ipad mini killer or a one version only. don´t know if people will buy it that much. but then again, apple is amazing and may transform the phablet experience.

and looks like the waterproof and sapphire glass will be in the next gen.

My only problem now is iOS

And teh Apple Watch. I can buy a 64GB OnePlus One for $350, so why would I buy a watch instead?

Interesting to see Apple make a phablet competitor...I don't know that Jobs would have approved. Nevertheless, I think it will probably sell well, if the same market that likes the Notes is drawn to the 5.5 inch iPhone. 

On the other hand, the gyro stabilization and higher battery life may appeal to a certain market as well. I could see the size lasting more than one generation, assuming the trend continues toward larger screens.

Personally the lack of waterproof is going to keep me with the Xperia phones for this generation, though if iOS continues on an trend of openness I may jump ship in the next gen or 2. It all depends.

where is the sapphire glass for iphone? looks like they are too cautious. first see if it the new segment work, and then release the (s) version with the unbreakable glass and waterproof.

Microsoft already have its iPhone killer, its the original surface, the big table one used on TV to read the news XD.

i personally don't like these new products... i don't like new imac's boxes too... someone in Apple is surely drinking too much wine.

I have a feeling that a lot of big phone Android users might finally try out the iPhone now that it comes with a 5'+ screen in the form of the iPhone 6 plus. Other than size however, the iPhone 6 is still just playing catch up to some of the high end Android phones.
