I'm not talking about downloaded games, not talking about cider games. I would like some input on some games actually bought for the Mac. I know there is a thread about "most addicting games" in this very forum.

I would just like some testimonials from actual users who bought legit copies of games.

I was thinking about Need For Speed Carbon, GH3, and Madden 08 to name a few.

Do you realize that Nfs carbon & madden are actually cider ports ?

While madden runs fine, nfs is a crappy port.

Other good games are c&c3 (but cider port too since it's EA), tomb raider anniversary, guitar hero 3, Lego star wars 2, quake wars, to name a few...

I wasn't aware. I thought because you could buy it for the Mac it wasn't a "port"

Having said that though, I bought Guitar Hero 3. I hope it runs well on my MBP

I have played AoE 3 and that does kick ass. I'll be buying the game in due time

lol i played Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix but the game was a joke seriously i guess cause of my screen card the game's quality was a joke but a nice game lol

I have it for the Wii, which is probably the best system to play it on since you can actually use the Wii-mote like a wand, and the game is still a joke. There's just no game to it. It's just "go find these 40 people while doing chores around the castle...ok, now that you've found them all, they've gone off again, and you need to find them again." It's a "game" of chores and errands. No fun at all.
