Dojomann
I found that after updating my kernel to 9.4.0 i would get a different set of numbers at that vectors thing, and would only have to push the button once. I'm not too techy when it comes to mac stuff to be honest, I just poke things and see what happens. nyrol
Does anyone else know where I can get the 10.5.3 update working for AMD? The bay of pirates doesn't seem to have enough seeds and I get to 62% and then after that the download speed is 0.4 kb/s. Can anyone either seed or let me know where else to get it? Thanks. Dojomann
you may want to try downloading and patching the 10.5.4 combo update using zephyroth's tool... Dunno if it will work, but it might. AmericanYellow
@americanyellow: i have found that using the bootflag cpus=1 helps a little with the heat issues. hope this may be of some use to you. keep up the good work. regards, Marc PS, are you planning to support dual screen with your driver eventually? Marc I am going to work on dual screen immediately as soon as possible after the first stable release of the driver(since I use my laptop for presentations). Just to update you guys on the driver: A lot of things still not completed, but we are learning and implementing. We are still on time though. AmericanYellow
@americanyellowr u working on 6150 go only..?or have plan for all 6150s(le,se)?... 6150 Go only because it we are having hard time with this alone. LE and SE possible if we can finish 6150 Go. SO........... Bad news. We are stuck in coding something which brings the project to a temporary halt. I don't really understand exactly what we are stuck on (honestly this problem is way above my head) Hopefully, our top wiz will figure it out soon. Bümbel
Hi I have tx 1420us, and got the following things working: Screen resolution tablet audio webcam remote control.. these things don't work so far: front row, chess, videoprograms (cannot watch any videos) ---> (programs) the harddisk isn't recognized (I use Leopard on an USB harddisk extern) Wireless Lan (recognized, but no networks) Boot while not plugged in Could you help me with my problems somehow? Maybe a trick for this boot problem, Wlan drivers (I use Zephyroth) or harddiskdrivers. About the programs: I used that install pack for all the drivers, but these few programs don't work somehow... Maybe still Nvidia go 6150? regards, Bümbel Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/87077-hp-tx1000z-tablet-compatibility-with-leopard/page/33/#findComment-866831 Share on other sites
wyzazz
@Bumbel Follow the tutorial in the Wiki or on the first page of this post. You will need to install with Leo4Allv2. Front Row & Video Progs wont' work without proper drivers for the 6150. Rackball
Hey has any found a way to get volume control and fix the prob with the jacks? just a simple question Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/87077-hp-tx1000z-tablet-compatibility-with-leopard/page/33/#findComment-869896 Share on other sites
Bümbel
@rackball: Yes, I did. I can control everything with the special keys on the keyboard. Just installed TX1000/2000 mpkg. @wyzazz: Ok, so I will do that. There isn't a driver yet, right? About the harddrive: Anyone has an idea? About the battery-boot: I got it work, because I switched off that log-in window at system start. Where you have to type the password. then it automatically starts. Only problem: Damn slow... Very slow... Think that's because Leopard doesn't know what to do when not plugged in with RAM and processor. Maybe another question of Power Management Bundle. Is it recommended to install this? regards, Bümbel /e: Do you think Leo4allv3 would work, too? Neodymium
@gg74 Take a look at the previous posts, you will need to downgrade your BIOS to make sound work. As far as "web", is your wired Ethernet, or WiFi working? What WiFi card do you have? @wyzazz Would you know if the bios can be upgraded to F.08 from F.04 once Leo installs? Thanks. Dojomann
Quartz Extreme and hardware accelerated Core Image are still being worked on by AmericanYellow and his team of geniuses. Speaking of which, I wonder if they got over that little problem they had earlier. I hope so. wyzazz
You can flash to whatever BIOS version you want, but it must be flashed from within windows, and your sound will quit working. For whatever reason HP's "fix" killed the sound for OSX. It's all an evil ploy to make us buy real Mac's. I have had no issues running the older "broken" version of the tx2000 bios. the_29
Great! After installing XCode (becuase i want the gcc) my system has now a kernel panic... So its time for reinstall But some months ago, i was able to successfull install a xcode version..
