Proteo
LOL, I used to do it since Mac OS 8.5 days. I even remember doing some hacks of this kind to Win98! Ah, the good ol' times. Dermatea
The Finder is reproduced pretty well. It involves installing Samurize (free): http://www.samurize.com/ and a "Tiger_Finder.sam" file included in the theme. All the installation info is included inside the theme package. The Finder add-on is located in the "Extras" folder. iThomas
You should try objectbar 1.65 with objectbar mod. Makes it free(bug in OB). sh0td0wn
Did this today A bit buggy and the spotlight there is just props.. And that "About This Mac" is a standalone app from DA. Used ObjectBar with chaodam's Leopard Perfect from DA too. Most of the menus in the bar work and yes, even the shutdown, logoff, and the "About This Mac" (a shortcut to the standalone app). Only thing that doesn't work is the spotlight although itll be nice if it really works.... I have ObjectBar 1.6 but I think there's more functionality with 2.1 I'm going to fix up the "About This Mac"... Values are kinda off.. Idk if i should keep the Windows Vista visual style or make it "OSX-ey" too.. cmdshft
There is an app floating around on Aqua-Soft that let's you use a spotlight-ish interface on top of Google Desktop Search. It's pretty nifty. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84590-make-windows-xp-look-like-tiger-os-x/#findComment-626029 Share on other sites
