Here is my output. The load hung at the point in here, so after about 5 minutes I pressed enter, and it seemed to stop execution. My sound card is a sigmatel 9205, and it runs on Codec#1 in linux. My codec dump is attached. This was done with version 6.

First time run the patch .. it make kernel panic on booting..after try to disable my core multi processing on my bios to make it works.. the kernel run smothly and not panic again..

 

After do the steps like you wrote before..VIOLAA..!! my sound card works!! i got stereo sound but still no mic input..hehe.. i hope get multichannel and mic input works on the next V2 patcher..:D

 

But still being my question is but why it should disable my core multi processing to make the script work without kernel panic Taruga ?

Would you like to fix it please..

I have not seem much with my card. I have an LENOVO R61 with an "Intel HD auido chipset" which I have determined is actually an Analog Devices 1984. I have tried several several patchers and always got the same answer:

First time run the patch .. it make kernel panic on booting..after try to disable my core multi processing on my bios to make it works.. the kernel run smothly and not panic again..

 

After do the steps like you wrote before..VIOLAA..!! my sound card works!! i got stereo sound but still no mic input..hehe.. i hope get multichannel and mic input works on the next V2 patcher..:(

 

But still being my question is but why it should disable my core multi processing to make the script work without kernel panic Taruga ?

Would you like to fix it please..
