Well, just managed to get my FX5500 AGP 256 working with Leopard with full CI/QE but unfortunately no dual-monitor yet. And its recognized as PCI.

I tried pretty much all the methods I could find in all the forums I know and none worked.

I always got stuck on a blue screen right after apple grey logo. The best I had so far was when I tried to use the kexts included in macvidia 1.8.something (available at OSx86Scene). But I wouldn´t get CI/QE and couldn´t select a refresh rate higher than 60Hz. Then I tried the last version of titan.kext (available at http://omni.110mb.com/titan/). And it worked!

Another thing I did was editing info.plist in geforce.kext with my device id. I´m not sure if this made any difference but it dindn´t do any harm. So I guess you could leave this for last...

After all this I tried the Natit_dual_v1 to get dual-monitor (that is how I got it in tiger with Natit + Titan together) but then I got to the blue frozen screen again, so I just removed it. If anyone got any clue how to get dual-monitor I´d be thankful!

well, hope this helps anyone.

see you.

EDIT: For some reason the link for Omni´s titan doesn´t work if you click on it. You need to copy+paste for it to work.

I just have finally gotten a 6200A AGP (recognized as pci) worming under Leopard ToH with Dual Monitor support. Everything finally works (outside AGP stuff). I am using the latest NVInject for Leopard with a custom NVCAP Value of:

04000000 00000100 02000000 00000000 00000000

hope this helps some people out there.

Hello :P

I'm having a same kind of problem.

When I use the Titan installer from my Tubgirl 10.4.10, I manage to get my 6600 LE recognized and working, but without the QE/CI (works in Tiger).

When I use Nvinject for Leopard, the videocard is recognized during the boot but I get stuck at a blue screen with nothing but the mouse pointer.

If anyone knows a solution... thanks :D

i had res change and dual monitor support but no QE/CI when i was using the 10.4 kexts in leopard together with natit. With the original Leo kexts + natit everything works. But you need to be sure that your dev id is the only one thats in GeForce.kext, NVDANV40Hal.kext and NVDAResman.kext. and NVDAResman.kext needs to be patched because of amd. then everything should work as your setup is very similar to mine.

yeah mine runs fine with -x too that log is from console and then I went into the window server log its the only thing that gives me any info about the error ive also tried other gl frameworks many diff kext versions decrypted nvdaresman all to no avail tiger kexts give me reschange so I just use them but no qe/ci is frustrating I'm starting to think kernel issue decrypt issues or just plain incompatibility for some reason

7600GS works out of the box with brazilmac dvd. Even screendetection works.

However, when I resume from sleep the screen becomes pixely. (looks like i'm running 640x480 while the backgroundpicture is still @ 1280 x 1024)

edit: I just found out that the screen only goes bad when connected to the second DVI port

already done, 3 times, doesn't work

did you try using xfidelity 's kext files [removed] ???

-they contain all the original Leopard kext's that -aKy- is talking about and it works great. . .

But 1st I had I had to put my Video card Dev ID in the three kext filles (GeForce.kext, NVDANV40Hal.kext and NVDAResman.kext) and then patch the NVDAResman.kext and run the root:wheel chmod thingee afterward. . .

btw, runing -legacy mode just means 32 bit mode is all. . .

-x is safe mode I believe. . .

Hmm...maybe a dumb question, but what do you mean you had to patch the NVDAResman.kext file?

EDIT: If you meant patch it for AMD...then nevermind. I'm a tard.

you have to patch the NVDAResman.kext file because it's an original and it needs to have the cpuid changed so it will run in a Hackintosh. . .

and you're certainly not a tard!

afaik they are just normal kexts with some IDs on... no?
