I stopped install, coz i making a new bigger partition, btw i read quickly before that maeby Alpha make both cpus worked with a patch

Yep, both cores and sound after the Golden patch. As an added bonus I don't have to boot into safe or verbose mode.

yea u just need to disable a core to go through the installation process...then run the post patch which is referred to in the golden folder and you'll be able to use both cores with audio and etc...

*im gonna be cleaning this topic up soon since the thread has gotten so big, bear with me shortly i'll throw a guide on the first page...i know it can seem confusing lol*

A quick note: a few serious errors were fixed in my guide, so it should work properly now. For all who don't know what the guide does: it's a clean install of Leo with no Tiger involved, with working sound and multicore. The problems you were having with it were due to 3 errors in the Golden.zip step. They have been fixed.

Thanks netroller! I'll throw a link to your guide on the first page!

Everyone who has an EVGA 680i will be eligible for EVGA's upgrade program (We'll get the 780i by trading our motherboard in + chipping in an extra $90). Will the onboard stuff listed in this link be just as compatible as our motherboard is with OSX

ah im jealous, damn bfg-tech lol

lol, everything is almost perfect by now after the release of G92kext lately,

but i am still finding a way to ignore the annoying msg that pop up in every boot process,

due to the useless detection of my raid drive.. (ignore, eject, ignore, eject ...)

apart from that, boot process still slows , a lot of error show up .. but it's still okay, the system boots! ;)

but later on.. i find that the system freezes with no reason sometimes.. whenever i deal with the hardisk ...

(like use time machine to reformat a disk for backup ...)

*a bit laggy* when i try to install vista in vmware, the mouse keep loading and moving alternatively ...

sometimes even take time to load when i right click the finder ... i suppose those problems are due toat

the imperfection of the nforceata driver .. right?

Ok

Got my hands on Kalyway 10.5(iAKTos didnt work at all), Takes along time to install, after I select my langauge...after a further 5mins a installer log appears has alot crash logs on it...then logs out....then eventually shuts down

Bios settings are good

Tried different flags -legacy, cpus=1, -x, -v still no luck, the best i get is the shut down after 20 mins of booting up

Any Gigabyte nvidia 650 or 680 users want to share the love?
