Stupidicus
I got this too, or something VERY similar. I'll have to try again now, maybe it'll work! Thanks JaE-V for the tip. P.S. elect
The only way that I dont get kernel panic is "-x -v -legacy", but in this case, i get "still waiting for root device" WOW, it worked, "-v -x", i love u all so much Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/69705-650-and-680i-chipset-thread/page/20/#findComment-543404 Share on other sites

.NetRolller 3D
A quick note: a few serious errors were fixed in my guide, so it should work properly now. For all who don't know what the guide does: it's a clean install of Leo with no Tiger involved, with working sound and multicore. The problems you were having with it were due to 3 errors in the Golden.zip step. They have been fixed. gtaranti
for gtaranti: can you install and boot from a sata disk? I haven't tried that yet, because to install you have to put the extension in the install DVD, right? muitommy
lol, everything is almost perfect by now after the release of G92kext lately, but i am still finding a way to ignore the annoying msg that pop up in every boot process, due to the useless detection of my raid drive.. (ignore, eject, ignore, eject ...) apart from that, boot process still slows , a lot of error show up .. but it's still okay, the system boots! but later on.. i find that the system freezes with no reason sometimes.. whenever i deal with the hardisk ... (like use time machine to reformat a disk for backup ...) *a bit laggy* when i try to install vista in vmware, the mouse keep loading and moving alternatively ... sometimes even take time to load when i right click the finder ... i suppose those problems are due toat the imperfection of the nforceata driver .. right?
