Numberzz posted a screenshot of the upcoming Firefox 3 in the Front Page News section. If Firefox is altering it's Mac OS X appearance, do you think they might adopt more Mac technologies, such as Dictionary versus their own spell check, keychain access, etc. And if they do, will they eliminate Camino?

Personally, I think that the code behind Firefox should be kept consistent, and that the seperate flavors of the browser should be tailored specifically to their respective OSs.

I do realize part of Firefox's strive is to create a consistent browser across all three platforms, but by what standard do they work with? There are resources that each OS offers that Firefox could use to it's advantage to create a similar, yet tailored performance for each OS.

Hell personally I think it sucks for intel macs as well, at least it does on my core duo macbook, It takes forever to start up compared to safari plus the smooth scrolling just doesn't cut it for me. Personally If i'm not using safari Im using camino or flock, I know flock is built on firefox but for some reason it starts alot quicker and it seems a little more responsive even though its a 1.0beta.
