apowerr
Nice. What made you decide to go 7 series as opposed to 8 or HD2k? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/66591-my-new-pc-build/#findComment-473761 Share on other sites
Lactobacillus P
Now that looks nice. How did you manage to get the cooling right? Cheers, Mark Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/66591-my-new-pc-build/#findComment-474163 Share on other sites
macmaniac
You're not a Blakes 7 fan, are you? Your new PC looks suspiciously like Orac. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blake's_7 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/66591-my-new-pc-build/#findComment-474588 Share on other sites
dark4181
i went with the 7 series mostly because i'd originally planned to build a hackintosh. i ordered the mobo last of all, and chose the evga over the gigabyte i was looking at. the other factor was cost... i'll prob upgrade for christmas though the cooling wasn't too bad, just had to be careful when installing those 120mm's i saw the orac build, but i was never really a huge fan of it. the mess of cable in his case can't be good for air flow Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/66591-my-new-pc-build/#findComment-474640 Share on other sites

Headrush69
I hope you fair better than I did with dust and fingerprints. I had 2 boxes like that and I swear the acrylic was a magnet for dust. P.S. If you want even a more dramatic look you can pick up some black light reactive paint. It's really cheap and applies like nail polish and it's very easy to paint things like PCI slots, or traces on the motherboard for a very cool look. Headrush69
i'm using Novus Cleaning Kit on it. kills static and repels dust. i just have to reapply once every month or so Even with great air flow patterns my issue was dust on the inside. Especially at night with the blue LEDs it really stood out. dark4181
no probs here. filterright fan filters keep most of it out. the little bit that does make it through comes off with a piece of fabric softener Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/66591-my-new-pc-build/#findComment-522127 Share on other sites
~pcwiz
Did you stick that control panel with the knobs on the front or did that case come with it? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/66591-my-new-pc-build/#findComment-522135 Share on other sites
