SquidCombo
Does anyone know how to get that apple tv like Core Animation demo (the one in keynote)? Is it included in 9A466? I would love to demo it to my friends and boom™ them.

SquidCombo
I guess, I don't have Apple TV so I don't know if that is the start video. Steve demoed the feature on leopard during keynote.
Soündless
is it this?
mnit
Its not the appletv intro vid. It looks like it, but it demonstrates core animation by allowing the user to search the videos shown by typing in tags, as tags are typed in, it displays a coverflow-esque view in the foreground of all of the matching videos, all still playing, which populate this new view by flying out from the appletv-intro 'wall' in the background. hazkid
I know what you're talking about. After Steve's keynote, I searched for it, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
Guest Ramm
The "Apple engineers" built it specifically for that keynote, and to demonstrate Core Animation.
SquidCombo
The "Apple engineers" built it specifically for that keynote, and to demonstrate Core Animation. Can we "have" it then? That would totally get my friends to convert.
Markus1982
I wonder, why they do make such cool interfaces and don't make a product out of it. This would be a great view for movies and tv-shows in iTunes. And it plays wonderfully with iTunes' concept of narrowing searches, as you type. But I think I remeber this is not the first time, the tec-demo was much cooler than the actual products, that came out of it.

stevegut78
yeah that was no video guys. If you watch it, you would have heard when he said the app was written in a fairly short amount of time... Would love to have that baby to search media on my plasma
kevnaca
ditto, they just compiled it quickly for the demo. it would be insanely cool to search for videos that way but it doesn't look like it will be released outside Apple, at least not anytime soon. But this doesn't mean it won't show up as a possible feature in say iTunes 8.
