neon_eddy Posted June 13, 2007 Share Posted June 13, 2007 I can give a green D invite as well in return for a hookup on the torrent if / when it comes. in other news, if I rana private FTP I wouldn't want someone posting it on a site like this, however, I don't see the harm in making a torrent out of it. but again downloading over 5 gb of data is no small or quick task, so it will be a few hours at least for ol' Private FTP guy to even have a chance of doing "the right thing" .. I don't have it yet as its still downloading and I cannot give out ftp details as its a private server. Stop being a prick and just be patient, it will be one a public tracker in a day or so. Remember that ultimately, this is some sensitive stuff we're talking about, with the potential for some uncomfortable fallout. It'll surely be on the public sites soon, and it'll get hammered so downloads should be nice and fast. As for the Green D invite offer, I'd appreciate one. They always seem to cut off new signups after a certain point and I can never catch it when it's open. A few months back an 'Apple Lawyer' was here monitoring things ... and consequentially issued Cease and Desist letters to a few users that were sharing Dev copies on private FTPs and carelessly giving invites ... it's simply not worth it. Be patient, and i'm sure a secure method will come about.
