Working without problems as long as I care only to be a client.

I still would appreciate full airport-like functions. For instance I would like to be able to create a network...

What do you mean?? Do you have a RTL8187L USB? Is it working for you under Leo?

If so, how did you do it? I downloaded those drivers, but it says that they are for tiger and don't work in my Leo.

It installs, it sees the network, and connects, but doesn't get an IP, and manual IP doesn't work either.

Thank you!

I was having the same issue with the RTL8187L wireless on my p5w. I use DD-wrt on my home wireless network and I found that once I enabled AES+TKIP in DD-WRT for the AP I could connect and stay connected.

There seams to be a updateted (2008/2/27) driver out form Realtek

Here

MacOS, Tiger, 10.4, 10.5 Driver 1309, UI 1.5.1 ( Support Both of Intel and PowerPC Platforms)

I haven't tried it on my "mac" yet, but will try as soon as I get home.
