i run leo on my hack as well, actually on all of them :D, and x86 is intel, so no need to refer to it as a x86 kernel, because osx86 is techincally os x on intel, and if u {censored} ur kernel up, well u can boot with the dvd and replace it, but i always make a copy of my kernel and call it mach_kernel.old before i update, so i can use it just incase

For the most part, yes.

 

There really is not that much that changes Kernel-wise between dot releases.

It is generally improved hardware support plus every once in a while a security vulnerability fix.

 

Usually, Apple throws something in there that will try to thwart the "community" but it is just to easy to unbreak it.
