buhgock
try this one 10.4.8 loginwindow binaryhttp://rapidshare.com/files/8855658/loginwindow.bz2.html p.s. for intel procs how can i use this binary exactly. currently im using the 10.4.4 fix from the JaS DVD but i think its messing something up in the background, so one from 10.4.8 would be better. thanks edit: i think its /system/library/core services/loginwindow.app/macos/loginwindow Edited January 2, 2007 by buhgock Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36734-about-this-mac-resets/#findComment-266479 Share on other sites
Overclocked Tardis
I encountered this same problem while using jaS 10.4.7 DVD. Every time I'd click on "About This Mac" the OSX GUI would completely restart, closing every open application along with it. Eventually, I used the 10.4.8 Combo Update from jaS and that pretty much solved that problem.
