Fast, small and painless sequential OTA update (1,71 GB) from macOS 26.5 RC to macOS 26.6 beta 1 (25G5028f).

So far, Apple has not released a Kernel Debug Kit for macOS 26.6 beta 1 (25G5028f).

Unfortunately, Apple’s inconsistent KDK naming scheme causes OCLP to currently select Kernel Debug Kit 26.5.4 build 25F5068a from macOS 26.5 beta 4 as the closest match for macOS 26.6 beta 1 instead of Kernel Debug Kit 26.5 build 25F71 from the final macOS 26.5 release.

Modern Audio, modern Wi-Fi and AWDL continue working flawlessly.

Customised Icons also continue working flawlessly.

The system currently works so perfectly that switching to macOS 27 and Apple Silicon almost feels impossible! :thumbsup_anim:

Apparently Apple has listened to complaints about sluggish Tahoe performance.  The overall responsiveness of Tahoe 26.6 Beta 1 seems the same to me as that of Sequoia 15.7.8 Beta 1 on my HackBookPro16,2 (i7-10610U / 10th Gen Intel HD graphics).  Even with only an Intel iGPU, Tahoe is a pleasure to use.  💌

Anyone who has airdrop with fenvi t919?

I want to use airdrop.

I tried to change smbios both imacpro1,1 and macpro7,1

Should i change bcm94360 to bcm943602cs for working airdrop?

AirDrop with a Fenvi T919 should normally work without any hardware modifications.

Changing from BCM94360 to BCM943602CS is generally not required for AirDrop functionality.

If AirDrop is not working, the issue is more likely related to the EFI/OCLP configuration, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth setup, AWDL functionality, or macOS services rather than the specific Broadcom variant itself.

I recommend using my EFI-Folder distribution as a baseline configuration and following my detailed OCLP guidelines. Don't hesitate to send me a PM together with your EFI if any issue persists, and I will gladly take a closer look.

It's been a while since I experimented with igfxfw=2 Whatevergreen boot-arg for a mobile platform and this is the first time I'm experimenting with it in macOS Tahoe.  This boot-arg forces loading of Apple graphics microcode.  With all of my previous tests with UHD620 iGPU, igfxfw=2 did not work and I needed to use igfxrpsc=1 (enable rps-control).

With my CometLake i7-10610U CPU, boot-arg igfxfw=2 not only works, but it improves GeekBench 6 Metal Benchmarks consistently by 3% (not much, but not nothing).

With igfxfx=2 (best of 5 trials)

This leads me to believe that the i7-10610U iGPU is not UHD620 as claimed by most hackintosh documentation, but is actually a varient of UHD630 or Iris.

Test configuration:

  • HP EliteBook 850 G7
  • CPU: i7-10610U
  • Bootloader: Open Core 1.0.7
  • macOS: Tahoe 26.6 Beta 1
  • See here for framebuffer patches
