It's been documented, but it occurs in both the new and previous versions. I've tried both. I've even tried installing the kDS that includes the AppleHDA kext. I've even installed it on the desktop and patched it, but the same error persists, although it affects the entire application.

You need to roll back to version 1.3.

There is no need to use version 1.3, you can use version 1.5, if you are using version 1.4, you will be asked to reinstall the Privileged Helper Tool, or better update it.

If this does not happen, uninstall the Helper by running the attached file, just double-click.

I think it's something specific to this hard drive since in all the computers I have that can be seen below plus the external USB-SSD drives, I haven't had any problems of this type, but to skip the error I used version 1.4, the script mentioned didn't solve anything, therefore it could be something from the beta 4 Tahoe update.

I executed the recommended commands, but the installation still throws an error.

sudo rm -f /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.mirone.MyKextInstaller.Helper.plist

sudo rm -f /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.mirone.MyKextInstaller.Helper

I tried using MyKextsInstaller 1.4 — the process completes, but after restarting, I have no audio.
I’ll wait for version 1.6.
On the last attempt with v1.5, it gave me this error.

An error occurred during installation: Unable to resolve dependencies: 'com.apple.driver.AppleTopCaseHIDEventDriver' names a dependency on 'com.apple.iokit.IOHIDFamily', which was not found.

 Regards.

try this:

1 - Uninstall KDK

2 - Restore Snapshot

3 - Uninstall MyKextInstaller with this app: AppCleaner.zip

4 - Restart your computer, install MyKextInstaller and AppleHDA.

@Mirone I need help with my ALC888 Audio on a server board. I tried all the layout ID and even fixed HPET and IRQs but it doesn't work.

I only see this in IOReg:

The Device ID is: A1F0

I've attached my Codec dump from Linux Mint. I don't know what to edit or how to customize AppleALC. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with that. I retired from Patch AppleHDA a few years ago, and besides, I lost all my tools. I'm sorry!

Hmm. Any handy guide how can I patch on my own then? Not looking to patch AppleHDA but AppleALC.

Hi bro!! sorry but after update MyKextInstaller not work after update 26.3:

Uninstall MyKextInstaller 1.6, and download the latest version for KDK 26.3 from here: https://github.com/dortania/KdkSupportPkg/releases.

I ran the recommended commands, but the installation still throws an error:

sudo rm -f /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.mirone.MyKextInstaller.Helper.plist
sudo rm -f /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.mirone.MyKextInstaller.Helper

reboot

install MyKextInstaller and KDK 26.3 and t doesn’t work for me.

I hope you can help me.

Thank you for your work.

@Fory360,
Sorry for the delay in responding. Did you try uninstalling MyKextInstaller using this app:AppCleaner.zip and then reinstalling it again?

Sorry Bro!!,

I run the recommended commands, but the installation still throws an error:

sudo rm -f /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.mirone.MyKextInstaller.Helper.plist

sudo rm -f /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.mirone.MyKextInstaller.Helper

uninstalling MyKextInstaller using this app:AppCleaner.zip

reboot

and then reinstalling it again, and the injection of applehda.kext worked correctly in version 1.7

Thanks for your help
