vrondena Posted July 25, 2025 Share Posted July 25, 2025 The procedure works on my xps 9360 and I have apple hda running, I went back to Recovery to re enable but when I restart it goes to "Panic" and I have to go back to disabled. Are there solutions or do I have to keep the csr disabled now. I used the same AppleHDA.kext (4.5 MB) as in beta 3, and it still worked with the old MyKextInstaller v.3. And yes, I always completely disabled SIP. Do you think it's due to the update from beta 3 to beta 4? I can't imagine that. I can do a clean install, but I don't think the AppleHDA.kext will work then, or maybe it will? AppleALC goes into OpenCore kexts folder and config.plist, nothing to do with MKI or any other way to install kexts in the system volume. SimpleLoader works, but it doesn't load audio. The only way to load audio is MyKextInstaller v.4.2.
